Then you start remembering little things that the dog used to do and they always bring up a smile on your face maybe some tears on the brim of your eyes, but these memories start becoming happy memories after the period of initial torment has passed. Now compare this month long agony to the years and years of joy that beautiful furry angel brought to you. What would you choose? Please don't give up those amazing years and memories that a dog will bring to you over the comparitively much lesser period of grief of his crossing the rainbow bridge will.* I hope this helps you or anybody who loves dogs but don't have them due to the fear of pain of losing them. I hope you muster the courage to get another dog as well.

I lost my budgie pet bird... He ws like 15 days old... I got him from a local bird shop and he ws alrdy sick... I didnt knew... I gave him the feel mix i had for my other birds... Nd he got more sick. He passed away in 3 days... Im my hand... He ws nt able to fly and i ws talking him to bird doctor and he passed away on the way... Tht ws the most heart breaking moment when the doctor looked at him nd said hes alrdy dead. I cried a bit... Its weird for others to see a 20 year old guy cryin... But i had tears down my cheeks. I felt so bad that and felt i m the reason thst he died... Aftet that i had 2 more budgies both 6 months old... I ws in colg... Nd my mom always leave birds open in room so they dont feel caged... And one of them somehow fell behind the bed and ws not able to get out and died there... It ws so sad moment for me when i got to know about it and i felt more broken on the loss of 2 birds in 1 week. I felt so devastating thst i returned my other old budgie to a better pet shelter where he will grt the best care... I felt really bad that i ws nt able to care to my fullest for my birds. I still hesitste to adopt a new pet. It breaks me to think about having a loss again.

When she was 5, I had to move to a different city for my job in Kolkata, 1 year later she passed away and I feel guilty every day of my life thinking that she would have been between us today if only I brought her with me here....
