I love your video. It helped me out alot. My strawberry plant grows upward and it is planted in a water reservoir plant. Its been growing for over a year and start to develop leaves. I can't understand why my leaves are drying out. What should I do about it?
FIrst, thanks for putting this online. You have helped a lot.. second, where are you getting plugs and which weed barrier are you buying? my strawberries last year were really tart. what causes that? Also, how do you stop heavy rain from flooding out your berries?Any help is appreciated. Im a first generation grower looking to get into farming.

My strawberry plants are large and have a nice dark green leaf color. They look healthy, but all of my berries dried up and turned brown. Shriveled and died off. My leaves are still fine. What would be my issue? Not enough water? They are in a raised bed with no soaker system. I have seen the leaves wilt some during hot days if I didn't make it out to water them. They are in the middle of the yard and may be getting too much sun. I have runners all over the place.
Sounds like your plants are concentrating on developing leaves not the fruits check you soil levels and it’s best to have soaker system I went cheap way and got a soaker hose with a plastic shield over it to keep water off the plants
I straw mulch my strawberries and water the pots right above the plants wetting the leaves and in 9 days all plants develop Orange rust. Don't..just don't wet the strawberry leaves
There is no any solutions for different diseases . I try to grow strawberry this year,it was ok and suddenly almost all flowers inside and new tiny berrys became black ( I mulch it with last year tree leaves.Is it mold ? Any advice ?
Interesting! I have three plants on my windowsill, all in good shape, apart from a few red leaves to which I don't know what that could be? And also, how do you get rid of aphids for good? Please.... Spent too many hours showering and picking larvae off the new shoots!! 🙄
TheeMymanG I wash my strawberries with a small squirt of dish soap and a little of bicarbonate in a spray bottle and repite until they’re gone. The white ones I just squish them. ( yuck)
Me too.I grow them here in New Zealand///But, want to have a few strawberries.Planted some about 5 month ago and now in autumn found that new tiny leaves are growing already with a black spots on them,,,(((
@@MaryPoppins-tu1ms Before you plant any seeds in the pot poor boiling water into it day before. You will have healthy plants. Boiling water will kill anything.

What about brown edge around the leaves? It came in a hanging basket from Lowe’s. Havnt repott or gives any fertilizer.

What time of the day should I water? Can I wet the hole plant or only roots? Thanks jim80

I use colloidal silver to treat crown rot, it works.
What amounts to you use??
@@dulcebee4600 I use 12V 1A for 4 hour in 1 l dest. water with a few drop old colloidal silver water in it.
And Spray it all over the Plant.
