With over twenty films and more financial success than any other franchise in movie history, the Avengers have truly proved that they are the Earth’s mightiest heroes! That being said, even the mightiest among us make a few mistakes now and then. As normal human beings, our mistakes are usually pretty forgivable. Their mistakes though? They could’ve changed the outcome of countless battles against the seemingly endless forces of evil.
The MCU is full of O.P. super moves that have DEVASTATING effects. Some characters show that they can unleash unbelievable amounts of power or wield weapons that do damage on a cosmic scale. Then...they seem to forget that they have these powers in the next movie. Seriously, how many times has a superhero ended a solo film using an impressive final move only to lose to a weaker enemy in the next film?
Sometimes they create weapons that are much more powerful in one movie than they are in the next. Sometimes they have superpowers that mysteriously vanish right when it’s needed most. Then there are times when a character could literally bend space and time but for some reason doesn’t! Seriously, what is going on with Doctor Strange?! Pick a power level already!
We’ll go through every single case of superhero amnesia and try to figure out what circumstances kept our heroes from using a move that could’ve saved the day in seconds. Here are all the most O.P. moves the MCU forgot.

2:45 Every time Thanos takes an Infinity stone, he gets the power of this stone but his physical strength is reduced as he has to control the powers of the stones. The Thanos from Infinity War had already taken 6 stones and was physically pretty weak, also, Thor was able to surprise him. The Thanos from Endgame has never had an Infinity Stone and also is not surprised by Thor attacking him, so, physically the Thanos without the Infinity stones is stronger than the other one.

What about Thor takes a nap when Cap calls everyone to defend Vision and Wanda and when he finally arrives, maybe Thanos is weakened by the stone just acquired, but again Thor gives him a minute to snap his fingers. Again, Thor was the only one present to know how the gauntlet could have worked snapping his fingers (Gamora told him). I guess somebody say it could have been the jetlag of Bifrost, or the fact that he was just died and got resurrected by stormbreaker/groot and got permanent brain damage, but still Disney movies are pure gold!

What I point out is why in the world took so long to Thor to attack Thanos from the moment he steps on Earth. Meanwhile Thanos fought Cap, Wanda and Vision have time to talk, to cry, then she destroys the mind stone, then Thanos chitchat with Wanda, reverse time to recreate the mind stone, then comes Thor to fight Thanos. An eternity later or as we say in my town "after the fireworks". The only explanation is that he took a nap..
Dr. Strange can also use his magic to thanos from thor ragnarok where loki was falling for 30 mins😂

It's pretty fun that when making the stormbreaker and the person behind all the machinery couldnt find the handle, Groot found the 2 main parts, and used his own arm to lift it, and then chopped off his arm to make a handle
Dr.strange didn’t open all those portals by himself he actually had other sorcerers open the portal as well. You can see this if you pause it at 8:27

Space and reality stones counter the timestone. The reality stone user would never have to face his opponent. Space stone would allow them to escape the time loop by phasing away from the time stones influence.
I also believe the dormomu was able to realize he was in a loop. Without that Strange could not have bargained. But Thanos wouldn’t. So basically the only thing that would change was Strange’s actions. He could have popped up like, “Thanos, I’ve come to bargain.” Gets killed, respawns over and over, but no one knows except Strange.

2 more worth mentioning:
*In the final battle of Endgame, why wouldn't Tony summon the hundreds of flying murder drones we see in Spider-Man 2?
*Those black-hole grenades the Dark Elves used were pretty OP. They easily dispatched that Kursed fellow - a guy that took hits from Mjolnir like they were kitten kisses. In Spider-Man we see Vulture's crew selling them on the street, meaning Damage Control has some of them lying around - meaning Tony has access to them. Even if they weren't strong enough for Thanos, they would have made short work of the Black Order or even Thanos' ship.
With Mjönir, technically Thor used that hammer trick twice, cause in the beginning of Thor Ragnarok, he used it to make a dragon to stop trying to eat him
Ok, I wanna point something out with the "cutting Thanos' arm off with a portal" thing: since Dr. Strange did it to Cull Obsidian by closing a portal, it would only work if he could get Thanos' arm in one first.
And it was also mentioned that thanos' skin is really tough
Thats true but think of this, your arm is in a portal and one half of it is in the artic, the other half is on titan, if you cut off the portal then his arm is STILL in the srctic but the other half is on titan his arm wouldent stretch like that and if it did then it would be simple to cut it off

You mean like when Dr Strange opened a portal and then pushed it, to remove Banner when he couldn't summon Hulk? SO he can create a portal, he can push/move the portal to the person he wants, and he can close the portal and slice up the super being that's in it. Create portal, push over Thanos arm, close. Done and done

Odin "cursed" thor by making him require mjolnir to possess the power of thor. you will notice that his true power doesn't reveal itself until after hela shatters mjolnir, thus releasing thor's power back to him. this leads me to believe that with thor's power decreased in endgame, he couldn't channel as much power into storm breaker as he did in infinity war. this also explains why Cap can channel lightning, seeing as how he was holding mjolnir and thus possessing the power of (past) thor
Strange used the time loop in the dark dimension where time doesn’t exist, if me had done it anywhere else, he would make a new timeline for every time he looped back around to before he started the loop, possibly having huge change to the mcu
The thing about Peter's spidey senses is that he doesn't pay much attention to the chaos around him the only main power he rely on is his strength, webs and nerdiness

I might be able to explain Peter Parker's issue. He is actually super powerful, but very insecure. And he gets starstruck easily. Being around Tony completely boggles his mind. Notice how he was able to almost pull off Thanos' gauntlet after Tony left the glove and went to hold Quill back. Also he gets his ass kicked by Starlord, like sure the guy's fights aliens for a living but still Parker's got Spidy senses, but they don't work. Not with Tony there to protect him.
I actually like this theory a lot. But I don’t think it’s specifically that he has to get starstruck I think he just has to have his mind relatively clear to use his spidey senses. That’s why not only Tony but also his friends can cause him to lose his spidey senses in certain situations. I also don’t think it’s specifically about being star struck because in the airport fight he used his spidey senses against buckey and Sam who, while certainly not on Tony’s level, had the avengers fame. Well at least Sam did.

Tony built the iron legion after the first avengers movie, so they couldn’t get them, plus they got destroyed at the end of iron man 3

Thor used the Hammer's unliftability on an enemy more than once. Thor charged up Ironman's suit twice, and gave him a little jolt, in Endgame, too. Dr. Strange didn't open every portal in Endgame. Some of those were other sorcerers.
Tony could have brought multiple Iron man suits in final battle of endgame. He could have also summoned Edith drones.
But he destroyed them all at the end of Iron man 3

@@LordRuaak I said similar, he does explore a bunch of timelines and find the right one to win which functionally is similar to repeating things until you win.
the lightning DID damage the iron man suite. thats why Tony made a special place to catch it.
Love how they literally show the scene where they use it in Endgame, but say they never used it again.
Stormbreaker was able to cut through the stones because it was designed to do that. However being used as a conduit of Thor’s power is just that like Odin says. It couldn’t overpower Thanos in endgame because Thanos was in his Prime and Thor was not.
If Dr.Strange would have used the Time Stone then Thanos would have been easily defeated.

9:19 my answer to this is that when strange was in the spaceship, he did not prepare the GATE spell. Additionally, strange was not the one that brought the big fight in the end of endgame. It was a mass teleportation that required multiple sorcerers.

Stormbreaker in Endgame didn't effect Thanos (as well) because he didn't have all 6 stones. In Infinity War when he had them, he got "careless?" and was relying on the power of the Stones to take on the Avengers, but in Endgame he didn't have them, AND had witnessed Stormbreaker decapitate him, so he was likely much more careful and aware of the weapon... that's my interpretation anyways
Yea thanos was about mercy in infinity war, and was shocked by thor, so he didn’t know how the weapon worked.
In his theory about why Thor doesn't supercharge Tony's armor, it's pretty obvious that technology deteriorates very fast when you throw lightning at it

Tony did not have a full battalion of suits until after blowing up the mothership and the trauma of it
Loved this video! But I think a good thing to keep in mind is that every character has their own fighting styles, a move that would end the battle may be something they didn't even think of because they are so focused on the way they battle. It's like if hulk was in a fist fight that could be won with talking it out, it's not something that would immediately come to mind. Even then, you would think atleast one of these heros would be like "I think it would work better a different way."

Actually the reason strange never used any of his portal spells in infinity war is because when he saw all the ways it could turn out he probably saw himself using a portal spell and that turning out bad.

Similar to the tasers used on Thor, in Thor: Ragnorak. Obadiah Stane, in Ironman, used a device that would paralyze people from listening to it. He used it on Tony to paralyze him and take the arc reactor out of his chest.

Thanos destroyed the Infinity Stones in Avengers Endgame after the purpose to collect the Infinity Stones was to wipe out half the population of the universe.
Thanos destroyed Infinity Stones by reduced the stones to the atomic level.
That means he smashed them to smithereens but did not actually destroy them out of existence.But no one may not be able to find and use the Infinity Stones in the Main MCU Timeline.
We have seen Mind Stone in Vision's Forehead in the lastest Wanda Vision Series Official Teaser Trailer.
But the real question is How did Vision retrieved the Mind Stone after he was resurrected in the Wanda Vision Disney+ Series ???

The fact that scarlet witch can alter reality and even travel through space and time, it wouldnt be difficult for her to go to another timeline to meet vision and eventually go off on their own journey with the stone. The chick can warp reality
Also let’s not forget when Wong cut off Cull Obsodian’s arm. He could have cut off both of Thanos’s arms, and he would not be able to wield the stones
This was specifically explained by the directors. The portal closing can't cut through Thanos' skin. Remember, they're meant to be portals, not weapons.
@@icequeen52 how many times do i have to say this- he could open a portal to somewhere random in space, positioned right on thanos's neck. If he closes the portal, thanos's head would be in space and his body on earth/titan. unless hes extremely stretchy, hes dead. A portal can cut through basically anything lmao
@@bigsili There's genuinely nothing I can say to this other than the fact that the directors of the MCU - the ones who control what is and isn't possible - have said that the portals can't cut through Thanos' skin. Yes it isn't a great explanation, but they're the ones who control the canon, and what they say goes. It's their story after all, we're all just lucky enough to be able to see it.
@CBR, I noticed that the shocker used on the fighters in Thor Ragnarok, is somewhat similar to the device Black Widow uses to stun the Bucky’s metal arm in Captain America: The winter soldier, we see this only briefly in the highway fight, when we find out who the Winter Soldier really is.

They did that move but instead to power the whole suit they powered one attack.
And the weapon used on Thor one "Cascade of Winters" Hela said it was weak. So Thor and Loki came to the same conclusion when they said surtur's crown. Hela grew stronger in Asgard, even frozen she was still in Asgard, and if Heindal got out of the ice then Hela has no excuse of not doing so. In other words the only option was to destroy Asgard (Helas power source).

In the first Thor movie it was the Bifrost being open too long that would have destroyed the world of the frost giants not the casket. Thor never even uses the casket .
Well my doubt is y has loki not shapeshifted when he was caught in avengers or at hands of thanos... he could shape shift to literally anything. Also he never used his frostgiant abilities after first thor movie.

Stormbreaker was really, really good at blocking energy and magic and what have you, to the point that it could resist the full might of Infinity Gauntlet Thanos. However, fighting angry helicopter blade Thanos wasn't what it was built for. It was still a dangerous indestructible weapon, but it relied entirely on the skills of its fat, rusty wielder, and Thanos kicked his ass.

Also, in Iron Man 2, when Iron Man and war machine shot repulsor blasts at each other and there was a huge explosion. That never was used again, but it was so powerful.
Strange can only make portals to places he’s been to before or can visualise (as Mordo says in the movie) so he can’t make a portal to anywhere in the universe

While doctor strange has the time stone and the ability to cut through anything via portals(I felt like he was dumb for not using it in infinity war too), my theory is that probably he has to keep the universe and some thing which were bound to happen cannot be reversed such as explained in what if...? where dr.strange and his gf are in the car and in the car crash his gf dies and when he becomes sorcerer supreme, he tries to stop it from happening using the time stone but cannot because his powers came from that event which he used to stop christine from dying, probably there is some reason we currently are unaware of.
The thing is. Dr. Strange can't move portals otherwise it could pull apart reality. When 2 portals accidentally collided in No Way Home it nearly destroyed the Mirror Dimension.
