That’s a stunning first reef tank, you can tell this guy REALLY did his job on research and understanding the fundamentals before pulling the trigger and it paid off well and probably saved him so much money long term. Love how puffy the acans look and some of those mushrooms were pretty unique looking!
He really did a good job of taking his time and taking the chance to learn as much as he could! Awesome tip for anyone getting into the hobby! Appreciate you stopping in and leaving a comment! -Blaine
Love that scape!!! Beautiful tank 🔥🔥 H2 overflows work well. You don’t see many people running those. Custom aquariums built me a tank that I’ve been really happy with. Ironically it’s almost the same size is this system. 72”x24”x28” Taller tanks look amazing. Trying to reach the bottom on 28” is bad enough, let alone 30”😂. .03-.05ppm Po4 isn’t high at all. Sounds about perfect. Maybe he meant to say .3-.5ppm??? Really impressive system.
Tall tanks always provide some challenges! I agreed on the Po4 number being a good range! I mentioned that to him as well, appreciate you tuning in and checking out the tour! -Blaine
Yes I love the CA Tank, they make an amazing tank. I researched every tank maker and just fell in love with the quality and design of the tank. Its bulletproof.... Oh yeah at 30 inches its tough. I am 6'3 and it is still a PIA to reach the bottom. Next tank maybe will be 28' high.
Hey man, I’ve just gotten my 5 foot x 2.5 foot x 2.5 foot 240 U.S. gallon aquarium, it’s going to be fish only, how many larger 6-10 inch fish do you think I’ll be able to house in this
Will be able to fit your fair share of fish in there for sure, and especially depending on what your filtration and nutrient export is looking like! Thanks for checking out the video! -Blaine
Gotta get that bubble tip outta there. Given time it will either split or get huge. I have a similar size tank and you can see in my TH-cam videos the error of adding one. Don't get me wrong you can do it successfully but will have to make sacrifices. Good luck.
