I think you can do it. I tried it. Just with what I had a home. I used food coloring..it came out ok. I took rubber bands off real excited to see Tim ah it was ok. More like big spots. So I let it dry. Than washed it. Colors ran..white tee, turned pink..:( maybe I missed a step. I'm going to go buy a kit. And try again.;)

What is the secret so that the garment is inked all over. Less wet or more wet or flat dry. It doesn't fit me and it only gets inked on top and the paint runs off.
What is the brand of colors you use? I just start trying some tie dye and just got Tulip brand. All the colors are pretty good except for yellow. Thanks in advance
