I own many winter jackets from Moncler and Canada goose, but since I bought my first Moose knuckles a few weeks ago I can say it’s the highest quality, best made of the three brands. Just so heavy and warm with some great details like the soft pockets and tomahawk zip.
Unreal quality on Moose Knuckles. Another brand I would buy before Canada Goose is Mackage, that will be the parka for which I break the bank. Very classy style, with leather and fur
I have a Canada Goose Wyndham Black Label and a Moose Knuckles Onyx Round Island which has a different shell to the Stirling and the 3Q in that Onyx Round Island is made of 100% Polyester. My opinion is that both are very similar in terms of quality and warmth. Both hold up pretty well in the rain although I agree my Moose Knuckles edges out slightly. Both are warm AF (in Moose Knuckles terms 😂) but from time to time I do feel slight cold air sipping through my armpits when I wear my CG but CG is superior when it comes to providing warmth to my neck area. The fur trim though it is hands down Canada Goose because coyote fur just simply doesn't shed like crazy unlike fox fur. In terms of prestige, here on the east coast of Canada CG and Moose Knuckles are around the same level but I'd still give the win to Moose Knuckles because CG jacks up their prices like crazy every year whereas Moose Knuckles only increases their prices modestly. But all in all, I am happy to have purchased both jackets and I have no complaints whatsoever
The Moose Knuckle jacket has helped me so much. I have a problem where I am cold all the time and it’s the only jacket that’s worked. Tried monclear, monkage & Canadian goose - all colder. If you are a person whose always cold i highly recommend moose knuckles! I never thought I’d spend so much on a jacket but it’s so worth it.
Hi not trying to be funny.. but I don’t know if you have ever taken a blood test to see if your iron or something else is low in your system... you could even be anaemic.. just my advice.. I have lots of those designer jackets brought a north face parka for £320 back in 2014 then a CG in late 2016 then a moose knuckle around 3 months back.. I wear them all at different times obviously and have about 30-40 other jackets and hoodies, when I wear the more expensive ones I tend to wear just a tee shirt only underneath..and there’s been times I gone out and felt a little chilly in all of them.. so some of the hype about expensive jackets is just that. “hype” and it’s more about status than warmth..saying I’ve got a high fashion item on move out my way with your £30 Tesco’s parka and Asda George cheapie... some humans including myself are full of it.

i'm nyc so it's always nice to hear someone's perspective that's from another country/continent. i personally like mk's quality and aesthetic more than cg's. once their marketing team steps it up, it'll be on par with cg in terms of "prestige."

There’s something about Moose Knuckles that makes me think they don’t look like an expensive, designer, quality jacket. I think it’s that sleeve logo. Always thought they wouldn’t look out of place in a Foot Asylum shop. It doesn’t pop the same and stand out as much as Canada Goose.

No man. Higher fill power literally means there's less feathers in the jacket. But less feathers means lighter weight. Except these jackets are never going to be light anyway. The cloth and hardware/fur/leather is just too heavy for the fill to make a difference. And for these type of heavier duty coats. Id actually want a lower fill power down 500-650 is the sweet spot. The 800-900s id save for the lightweight jackets purtex or packaway kind of jacket.
I've had Canada Goose jackets my entire life and I recently ordered a Wyndum jacket but when I received it I felt like it should have had better quality for the price it was. So I was curious and ordered myself a MooseKnuckles 3Q jacket so I could try them on both at home side by side and I can without a doubt finally admit the MooseKnuckle is far superior, it feels better on the body, looks better and is still at least $300 dollars cheaper. Easy decision im returning the Canada Goose jacket. Ive finally changed sides on the Canada Goose vs MooseKnuckles jackets... Moose knuckles *MK* is not as good as an investment as canada goose. Wyndham Parka carries its price unlike these jackets from MK. MK jackets go on discount after every season which is bad for investment. Canada goose goes higher in price often and never does discounts!

Moncler is more of a Luxury brand for style showing off, but in extreme cold they advertise not to wear them…

Imo Moose Knuckles do look more like a fashion brand than CG looking like an outdoor brand. Thing is even if Moose Knuckles is better quality I'd still take a Mackage over it lol

So upset man, got a canada goose Wyndham off depop for 350 as I was told it was a real one and it is fake. Gutted and not sure what to do with it tbh. Anyone can help I'd appreciate it

Moose knuckles *MK* is not as good as an investment as canada goose. Wyndham Parka carries its price unlike these jackets from MK. MK jackets go on discount after every season which is bad for investment. Canada goose goes higher in price often and never does discounts!
