What a wonderful movie. I thought it couldn’t get better until I hear that sweet sound of the greatest slide guitarist that has ever lived. Hearing Derek Truck in the end credits just topped an incredible movie
i've played guitar all my life, when i saw this movie, and heard the closing music, i was STUNNED into silence (a S, Vai quote) by the solo. i didn't know it was a slide. i didn't know who derek trucks was. i thought, MAN thatz EXPRESSIVE!! Damn!! And sooo beautiful. I rewound it on Nflx about 5X. Someone else said it best - UNREAL
The steel in the Vein, guitar sliding of DT has an affect on the timbre of us, this is one of those times I’m feeling those affects that you are.... it’s whole score is pretty to the ears.
Steel in our Veins: What is the time signature on that piece? It feels like there are two time signatures, the ostinato and then the melody. I love this piece!
