For me the tank started working great when I equipped it with battlepass vents, rammer and stabs (all 3 red) and given up on using standard ammo, because gold is just so much faster and seems to hit more shots because of that. It's not a tank without flaws, I'd love for it to have a bit better turret armor OR better base accuracy instead and smooth switches between driving modes (so they don't fully stop the tank), but it works good and I'm having fun with it most of the time. For some reason I like the gun handling and the tank hits a lot of shots on the move or during quick peeks. The gun handling itself on this tank is very good, the base accuracy and aim time can be a problem though, and that's why I use vents instead of turbo. Turbo seems to be worth it only for certain maps.
I think it is a 3 because to make it work you need full tryhard full gold rations and the gun is still a rng fiesta. There are way more consistent and reliable mediums.

The tank's advantage is getting into positions first to deny the enemy access to critical points. To increase that you can add a turbo to make it super-fast (which works in both modes). It doesn't need Vstabs, it's dispersion is .12/.12/.06 base. So if you're missing your shots you can swap the vstab out for an AIM and give that a try. Then go w/ the standard vents/ rammer combo. Or swap out one of those and use both the turbo and AIM with the vents or rammer if you want. The 7th field mod is tricky... reduce it's accuracy and get a boost in DPM, or lower the DPM and get a boost in accuracy. Unfortunately the tank doesn't stand out in either category so you're really gonna have to pick one and use equipment to offset it (or just maybe not take it at all). IMO it really can't afford to lose in either category but... everyone is different. The rammer (esp if bounty/bond) can offset the DPM loss, or an AIM (bounty) can offset the accuracy loss. Can also be fun to ram people in the turbo mode if you get Controlled Impact.. just don't ram any E50M's or Cent AX's lol. It's a good tank, it's just not OP in any specific category like some others are and I think that gives many the impression it's not very good. Plus it doesn't help that the Polish med line after tier 6-7 is just straight trash (yeah lookin at you CS-53 & CS-59).
Yeah this tank in clan games is usually played as a pusher for either 289r or chiefs. The gun does not matter as much as the speed. Playing solo I would say the tank is average the speed does not help you because you will be in position first… granted … but there will be no one from the opposing team that you can shoot … it really shines in clan wars and platoons
I used to love AMX30 on tier 9 and 30B on tier 10, before they were rebalanced. It was more of a lepard type tank with pretty nice accuracy, very decent dynamics and speed. After rebalance aka NERF it became more like Patton (with buffed turret armour) but with less penetration and accuracy. Now I just can't play it ...
Don't know why, but this tank works well for me, I prefer it way more than Obj. 140, had more fun playing with it than with STB-1. I have top average dmg with it, not counting Chieftain xD Maybe that speed is the key. Also I play full gold with it, maybe that is also a factor.
that was suck a tricky game, they where covering the 1-2 line very well and it´s totally understandable that you didn´t wanted to throw your tank away by pushing
I like this tank, got all bond equipment on it, cw ready and it is fine. I got my dmg record (over 10k) in it so i am pretty much consistent with it. Good tank for me.
CS have sub par gun handeling and pen, and as a balance it gets to be a weird mix of a light and a medium. If you're good at positioning, you can just suck up the bad RNG caused by the bad stats, and you will do fine, however that requires game knowledge that not every player has. It deserves a 3/5 for sure, however not recommended as a first grind for a beginner, more of a fun thing to do when you run out of the meta tanks everyone so obsessed with :D
I didn't consider this tank until I watched Dark Ninja have extreme damage in this tank regularly. I watched Skil because I respect his opinion. The key is getting to a strategic position before others.

This is one for clan wars, with a good team, and full gold. Otherwhise, its not bad, but you have actually a lot of meds i would choose before this one... 😁
This tank is not for everyone. Me personally it's my favorite tank in the game and I've never had a problem shooting with it but that's just my experience with it.
hey skill, you maybe need to check rating for P.44 Pantera on index, it is marked as epic but it has only 46% win rate and it is so much worse than progetto tier 8. Just my opinion Cheers!
P 44 is only slightly worse then prog 64. For example, P 44 is waaaay better then Skoda T27. By the way the reason for low win rate is simply cuz it is a tech tree tank and not a prem. in tier 8 it's like all tech tree tanks suck just cuz there is soooo many premiums which are quite destructive for MM if u compare them to tech tree tanks.
in onslaught and clan wars , its a meta tank xd , when random its kaku lmao ( except if its in the correct hands ) Plus 4/5 in onslaught , 4/5 in clan wars , Random probably 2/5 since its campy plus if you go alone you are dead meat

It took me a bit longer than usual to make it work for me because the mobility makes you want to play agressieve, the lack of armour makes you want to play like some kind of a leopard 1 but the gun can be trollish like the stb-1 gun so most on the time you want to stay in between the gamestyle of those 2 tanks. Stay close enough to the gun won't troll you as much and stay away enough so you can use te mobility to avoid incomming shells. Just like the leopard 1 for me it works best playing hidden and farm from distance at the beginning of the battle and as the battle prolongs playing more and more agressieve because of the hp you saved in the beginning and the suprise factor you can bring with the mobility by popping up unexpected

I still can't believe this tank, a good one in clan battles but legit sucks ass in random pubs. Even its mistaken role of a Sniper Medium pulls it behind in matchmaking. I agree that this tank can get to spots earlier than usual... But what's the point when it does everything subpar once it's there? IMO especially in randoms you're just better off playing a faster, more accurate, better camo and VR light tank like the EBR/T100
give it whatever rating you want but Beginner Friendliness should be a ONE. This tank in the hands of a top player is a win machine but in the hands of 90% of the players in the game it is just that tank that does nothing or dies first.
Tbh this is one of the only tanks where I disagreed woth your original rating for it. It really is not on the levels of Leo in terms of the gun, but it does tend to be quite consistent
I finally decided to buy this tank (just because its CW-Meta) and i absolutely hate it... Yea, it can have good games then and now, but the pros dont equal the cons in my opinion... The gunhandling is fine, aime time is mediocre and accurracy is really bad for the classification as a sniper medium 🤦♂️ You can rush good early-game positions with it and then have to brawl, whats bad, because the turret armor sucks and 8 degrees of gun depression is mediocre as well... All in all this tank will collect dust after i researched the field modifications on it!
CS-63 is good only when you finish all the field modifications and use all the purple equipments with gold shells and $$$ supplements, of course, RNG should be on your side too xD..
...you have to play it with GoldAmmo...sure thing...but buffing the gun handling and get a brilliant crew in the tank...it´s for Me...after never noticed that and really hating this tank for months...one of the best Tier X Medium Tanks. ...I would give this tank a 4/5... ...mobility is insane, gun could work but is more a Diva than a deadly weapon (yes it´s not a Leopard 1) and never trust the armor...

Completly nothing speciall and his speed its not huge. BC/prog/leo/tvp they are 2 second behind him maybe? But they can shoot while drive fast.. this... it can, but what for? It may be good only in 2 cases - 3 person platoon or clan wars. Normal random its a shit.
