How'd the band know A Room of Our Own? It wasn't even the same band that recorded the song. You think his current band knows all of his songs... like literally just in case? I'm so confused.
Yeah that’s surprising about Room Of Our Own here, he hasn’t toured/played with a band since 1995 but then somehow, they know the song which is honestly actually pretty cool.
I remember falling off my chair when watching this when it aired. Well, to answer your question it’s basically a simple piano (Billy) drums (Liberty) 3-4 chord blues riff sped up like early Beatles songs. Now when Billy yells out “D” right before the bridge (I can still remember packed together)…he stops the song because other than Billy and Liberty that transition they had no clue what to do lol…..long answer sorry but bottom line and professional musician can pull off what you saw until he ended it. 🎹

He’s such a cool musician. Something about him is way different than other musicians in my opinion.
I love this one, its so cool to see him play a room of our own here and the band seems so laid back here. Its great
True! Glad to see you enjoyed this one.
This was at a time period where to hear him do half of Room of our own was as rare as winning the lottery
@@Badlands26 Haha! Wasn't this the first time any of it was played live? Or was it?
@@RealRossMusic Yes, first time played live was on VH1
@@Badlands26 Yeah thats epic
The way A Room of Our Own ended was like having to sneeze and lot letting it out (side note, sounded great!)
True! Definitely should have been done on the actual 1998 tour but, unfortunately the audience always decided against it.
@@daniellikesalbum3301 A Room of Our Own is his most underrated song IMO
this is the only tour I ever saw ..

10:22 Tommy totally forgets the guitar riff hah I know they hadn't played in a while.
Also Lib's quip "What albums?!" is gold

Do you have any Billy shows more from 1989 - 1991 or 1997 - 2000?
Yeah I have a lot of them.
