Also, if he was, then Lucas stole almost the exact story used in the Phantom Menace from Isaac Asimov's Foundation Series and a character called the 'Mule'. Take a look into it. A movie adaptation has to do what's right for a movie. You can't _literally_ translate the comics into a movie.
So what's your proof of it not working? Because the joker hasn't got his due, Lex Luthor has been neutered every step of the way, Loki is only in 3 random movies and works great in each. We got f'd out of a good joker with Nicholson and ledger because the latter died irl and the former, in the film. These villains are driving forces in the heroes lives, especially somewhere like Gotham. You really wouldn't have preferred a third dark knight movie with joker, two face, scarecrow already established?
And here I thought nothing could top the Jaoker-is-Jason Todd theory.

first two nolan movies were amazing and probably the best, he played a great bruce wayne, had great villains, very dark themes with the joker and the mob and the action scenes were good
the two tim burton movies are great with their gothic aesthetic and great casting
the joel shumacher movies are only better because they go full circle on being bad to being funny (i will not die on that hill but i will argue it) and also have beautiful sets

Where would Robin fit into this theory? We know Ben Afflect's Batman has at least one Robin who is assumed to be dead. Who is that supposed to be? What happened to Selina? Is Lucius aware that a former villain is masquerading as Batman and using his equipment? If not than where did he get the new car and giant robotic suit from? There's just SO MANY holes in this theory.

the theory is also that slade wilson's batman is fighting bizarro superman cloned by luthor and that the real superman is imprisoned by luthor. christian bales batman is assembling the justice league to rescue the real batman while slade keeps bizarro busy

I think the grey hair is alluding to how Bruce Wayne appeared in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Rises" comics, which this movie is taking heavy influence from, such as Batman fighting Superman and the power suit
I don't think DC would go through with this theory, but it's definitely pretty cool.
You forgot Bizzaro! That is in the theory too. That the Lex Luther or his son, takes Zod's dna uses Superman's blood that has the Codex and clones him to make the evil superman.

2) Thomas Wayne didnt look like the Comedian from Watchmen

Hey Mr Sunday, Its my birthday today, could you wish me a happy birthday? it would make my day! (btw you're hilarious and I love you! and I hope one day we can be friends!)
The man of steel universe already contains most Batman villains, they could put the Riddler, Joker, Two-Face, Bane, Etc. in there without having to write a whole movie to simply introduce them, Batman is already an established character here, in the Dark Knight universe there is no Robin, and to suddenly add all those characters in would require a lot of back story.
Now, Deathstroke has been conformed to be the villain in the next Batman movie.
The theory is not as dumb as you guys say it is, it sounds ridiculous but the points the guy makes in the original article makes sense if you guys actually go back and read the damn thing
