It is super awesome to hear from a former IFOD student and an awesome career choice! The studies are going well, and I'm about to take my written exam soon. Interesting you mention you worked the ramp as that is what I did before going to dispatch.
I would say, dispatch is a very small world and with you going to IFOD they have a direct connection with Envoy and other AA regionals… not really the smartest move to be trashing AA. Also, best of luck on the exam, it’s honestly just like the practice tests you get, as you have come to learn likely, practice tests are all recycled questions that will likely be on the test.
Thank you for the feedback! When I fly I am going to be honest about my opinion even if a potential future employer doesn't like it. The practical exam wasn't too hard and I passed with no issues. I was blessed to be part of a really good study group, and the school prepared us well for what we would see on both written and practical tests.
I have a question Citrus Aviation dose an airline dispatcher chooses what planes fly on certain routes and subs in a plane for a route if that plane is not available
When I say correct we have regs and such we have to follow and the flights are planned months in advance. However, if something happens we do find and assign a substitute plane.
Since you used to work at the airport, do you know after the terminal is built which airlines will park at each gates? Also; how many new gates with there be?
When was the date that you were on that flight? I might've been on the same flight. Either we were on the same flight, or just happened to be a ironic how I was at the same gate, same plane, same destination, lol
2 Live videos from You & RedRiverAviation. I missed the live chat from you! Both Started at the same time! 5:00PM! I'm so sorry man! 2 Videos are in Premiere! Keep up with the Nice Work Though.
