    That change into 3rd just before 100kph robs it of a six-second time. But no matter, lovely car, really enjoyed my drive in one recently. Good ride quality too, which so many manufacturers seem to stuff up these days.

    The gearbox seems lazy with long gears but i guess they have done that in purpose.
    Not that i have any complaints about this beauty.

      The car having a VVTi engine comes into its own at about 4000rpm where it really opens up and that’s cars really can be redlined over and over again! I took it on a mountain pass and compared to the previous model they really improved the gearbox to change gears when you tell it to! I loved reviewing it just so much fun 😄

    I wouldn’t do brake tests like that, I’ve been in a few pile up bumper to bumper crashes and I slammed on brakes and when your going 50mph or 80kph type speeds it created a flat spot on most of the tyres………just my experiences so if you gotta stop quick it’s better and will stop you faster by avoiding a complete lock up, hit brake as hard as you can when u hear the tyres screech feather of by a micron and try and keep it on the limit of locking……….unfortunately I stopped too quick and everyone hit me on the rear anyway so I was shit outta luck anyway 😂

    • @PDriveTV
      @PDriveTV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This car (and all new cars in fact) has anti-lock brakes. It’s impossible to lock up a wheel and cause a flat spot.

    • @Melodic-Metal
      @Melodic-Metal 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PDriveTV yeah but majority of people don’t own NEW….. and ABS works on throttle or brakes directly depends on manufacturer but I’m talking from fact here it’s not a theory, I’m talking work utilities and pre 2000 cars mostly yes they can and do lock up and I’ve seen caliper seize up in the locked position too .I’ve worked in a tuning mechanics shop and been tuning cars for 20 years so it happens you got one pad thicker than the rest and go full stop without ABS assist it’s usually 1or 2 tyres had to be replaced due to the flat spot,it’s common sense you can and likely to cause a flat spot on the tyres.
