Aren't the exhaust wraps used for helping with cold starts? Wouldn't heat isolation leads to more engine heating?

I heard some TH-camr who makes 650 gt content saying there’s a possibility of the pipes getting rusted if it’s exposed to rain cause water tends to seep in

You can coat it in a high temp silicone to help with that. otherwise, make sure you run it after it gets wet so that the heat from exhausts evaporates all the water. If you wait too long to do this, then they can rust.

Coat it in a high temp silicone, itll protect it. Just make sure it's completely dry before sealing it
