Did you spot toys for the dog anywhere? What he needs is some good playtime what he gets is sitting around or following his owners. As he is bored he finds his own ways to keep himself entertained / busy

is it weird to say that victoria’s explanation on OCD (and this episode in general) made me feel a lot better about mine? :’)) i get triggered by seeing my hands and by looking in the mirror and this was super interesting to see in a dog as it’s so similar to me.
I have never seen that breed before. Beautiful. Glad to see an episode where the dog's problems are not entirely the people's fault, even though they exacerbated it.
Jo Luffman Yeah, it isn’t a very common breed (in the states, at least). I’ve been working with dogs for 10 years, and I’ve never seen this breed in person. It makes me sad lol. It’s such a beautiful dog.

Max is one stunning dog, so glad Victoria could help him and his owners🥰 I'm not happy about Drena saying Max was "like an autistic children or some child with problems" That's not the right way to say it to be honest😣
I agree, I didn't want to cut anything from the episode for transparency but the tendency of this episode to say 'Mad' 'Crazy' and 'With problems' isn't ideal. Don't worry you're not alone.
Well i never thought I'd see David Hamilton on this show! What a complex dog but goes to show absolute credit to David and his wife for their determination to train and work with Max. A highly intelligent couple with a highly intelligent dog. And well done Victoria, this was an incredibly difficult challenge ❤️
I love Victoria and the way she handles the owners, but can you blame this two? I mean, that dog looks like he's wearing a ginger wig, I would do whatever he wanted too.
I have german sheppered cross who has OCD it started with an obsessive chase of the tail then the obsessive chase of shadows Ive been working at it very hard and thank god hes so much better
I love this woman!! It amazes me how small things can make such a huge difference in the dogs behavior. I’ve used her techniques with my own dogs and they work, and they work quickly. Almost instantaneously. She’s a dog whisperer for sure. The noise aversion is a brilliant solution.
It's really refreshing seeing an episode where the owners aren't just idiots that mishandled their dog but really responsible dog owners who want to help their dog...
One of my favorite episodes. Max was a fascinating subject and a neat looking pup. The bit where he zoned out on his shadow with the tail wagging was so freaking cute.
I think Max is my favorite dog so far! He is beautiful and such a sweetie, I'm so glad that he's getting the help he needs to live his happiest life. Also, both Max's and Ms. Victoria's hair are on point!
This is one of the best episodes. I love how they show solutions. One of my dogs has OCD and the other is perfect in every way except she is obsessed with barking at passers by. It was so bad that she had to retire from being a service dog.
Why does Victoria weirdly remind of the girl in despicable me, lucy Edit: is it okay to talk about the minions or am I considered a cyber bully? Halp me pls
I could be remembering wrong, but I think Max was a retired military dog. He spent a lot of time in a room with a lot of mirrors on the wall, and his reflection obsession likely stemmed from that.
Such a refreshing episode/couple compared to the owners in other episodes. Genuinely nice, decent people and an interesting case. Plus, the hubby was hilarious and sweet when he flailed his arms to call over Max 😆

2. Max's hair should be a new trend.
3. Victoria is the best.
I thought it was already a trend?
Do they keep him in a show cut?

This episode made me smile. The owners were so sweet and it made me happy to see them with their better-behaved doggy.
Victoria Stillwell is LITERALLY a miracle worker. She is absolutely incredible. I always watch re-runs of It's Me Or The Dog and implement any training that could improve my dogs life. Training both for him AND for me. Victoria is truly my hero & my inspiration! I would love to meet her and pick her brains with so many questions! ❤❤❤
Ok, what I learned from binging this is that Victoria fixes EVERYTHING
People use bing?
@@chaosswa-ee-ty5911 no, I binged the series
which means I was watching this in one sitting.
@@sasha_stories2887 it's called dogbinging get it right next time please
Max looks like a chocolate lab with a wig on 😂 he's so cute
Hes def a setter but whats throwing me off is his hair gordon setters have hair like that but not exactly like that hm
Lol yeah, when they first showed him, I definitely thought the owners put a wig on a dog. He looks like a muppet lol
Yeah!!!
That cannot be unseen. I laughed every time I see him now.
1.I love Victoria's hair.
2.I love her voice.
3.I love her hair do.
4.I love her attitude.
5.I DROOL OVER HER CAR!
You mean you love Victoria's bangs? Coz 1997 called and wants its bangs back
I like her bangs and the way she does her hair. The total effect that has on her personality!😍
The dog has better hair tbh
Oh yes.the dog's hair!! I have never seen a dog quite like that. Its worth a praise.
@@saysHotdogs 😅
The fact they didn’t mess up when Victoria left is amazing good teamwork!
is it weird to say that victoria’s explanation on OCD (and this episode in general) made me feel a lot better about mine? :’)) i get triggered by seeing my hands and by looking in the mirror and this was super interesting to see in a dog as it’s so similar to me.
im so glad!! ur so valid for ur ocd and its totally in your control! i wish you nothing but the best, fellow ocd friend
That’s wonderful! I’m glad you can find comfort in it! OCD has to be hell to cope with!
you’re so cute i’m proud of you!!! ☹️
this is by far the best family i have ever seen on this show
Aren't you a snail person spongebob
I have never seen that breed before. Beautiful. Glad to see an episode where the dog's problems are not entirely the people's fault, even though they exacerbated it.
Jo Luffman Yeah, it isn’t a very common breed (in the states, at least). I’ve been working with dogs for 10 years, and I’ve never seen this breed in person. It makes me sad lol. It’s such a beautiful dog.
He's a Gordon Setter
@@cannapatient4209 Haha, I was about to say it was a very common breed, but he looks very different than most. I live in Norway, and I've seen several Gordon setters and Irish setters a lot in my small town of 6000 people! It's so interesting how much it differs.

:/ yeah, the reason dogs get obsessed with reflections is because they can't catch them, so they will spend the rest of their lives looking for it, which isn't long with the bad cases, some wont eat sleep or drink until they finally catch the light.
Don't onsessjins start with liking something?
@@auburneytuckerson2959 Most of the time it starts with wanting something, it could be something you like or hate, you just feel very strongly about it.
it’s so cute how proud the owners are of themselves and just want to tell victoria, they are like little toddlers ADORABLE
For anyone reading this: I know that dog training can be difficult sometimes, but you're doing great. Keep up the good work, and your dog (and your own sanity) will thank you for it! ❤️💕
Can I just say how gorgeous the lady owner is? Her sense of style is beautiful haha

Victoria: BAAAp
Max: O_O
I love how instant the reaction was. Such a sudden and new thing for Max; he couldn't help but stop to notice the new.
Acatalepsy 😂😂
Wooww
I love it when the owners obviously want to help their dog and they don't need Victoria to make them feel that way. They don't need the talk, they just listen and do it.
I don't even have a dog but I'm loving this show. Victoria is incredible, it's satisfying to watch her train dogs (and their owners). Such a cool woman.
I don’t have one either, but I watch to prep myself if I get one and for Victoria. 🙂
So proud of them! Having a dog with ocd requires a lot of structure and rewards. This couple truly are committed to their pooch.
That dog looks like he was full on making out with that reflection.
I would too, if I had his hair XD

The owners were so enthusiastic about his training, this is so heartwarming 🥰
Wow. I have ocd and seeing s dog having it is very interesting. I like feel his pain😂
Lmao I thought the dog was wearing a wig

LOL! It reminds me of the wigs barristers and judges wear!
if only I could have his hair
a wig like trump's
Max is one stunning dog, so glad Victoria could help him and his owners🥰
I'm not happy about Drena saying Max was "like an autistic children or some child with problems" That's not the right way to say it to be honest😣
Dog has special needs.
Is what it is.

Is the husband prioritizing the dog for the first time?

I love Victoria and the way she handles the owners, but can you blame this two? I mean, that dog looks like he's wearing a ginger wig, I would do whatever he wanted too.
It’s nice to see a Family that really does care and was well intentioned.
Victoria: he is over indulged and spoiled rotten!

An episode that was actually full of heart instead of frustration towards the owners. Victoria does such an amazing job.
I know this isn't very much relevant but the lady's voice sounded so refined I could hear her talking all day
Her husband too
Yes, her voice is like honey
Victoria: BAP!
Max: Wut?
Me: Wooowww!
Victoria: RRRRRAAAAKAKAKAKA
Me: Is she insane or is she a genius? I have no idea.
Im confused more than the dog she trains xd.
I actually imagined the Anime Wow sound effect after the Bap when one of the owners said Wow in the background. I needed some minutes to calm down. XD
Ahhh getting Harry Potter vibes😂
She is genius. Superhero

I love this woman!! It amazes me how small things can make such a huge difference in the dogs behavior. I’ve used her techniques with my own dogs and they work, and they work quickly. Almost instantaneously. She’s a dog whisperer for sure. The noise aversion is a brilliant solution.
It's really refreshing seeing an episode where the owners aren't just idiots that mishandled their dog but really responsible dog owners who want to help their dog...
i love the montage of victoria driving her car in the beginning. WHAT A QUEEN
I’m 37 and saw that and realized I FINALLY know what I want to be when. A badass like Victoria.
One of my favorite episodes. Max was a fascinating subject and a neat looking pup. The bit where he zoned out on his shadow with the tail wagging was so freaking cute.
i love victoria's hair. her ponytails always look fabulous
Maybe. But Victoria's hair is no match for Max's hair! 😆
MY GOODNESS?! I am astounded I had no clue *_HOW_* Ms.Victoria was going to deal with this! Yet, she--once again--handled it so easily!
I think Max is my favorite dog so far! He is beautiful and such a sweetie, I'm so glad that he's getting the help he needs to live his happiest life. Also, both Max's and Ms. Victoria's hair are on point!
This episode has such posh vibes. Loving it!
That dog's hair looks better than mine...how depressing
Have you tried chasing some light reflections?

This is one of the best episodes. I love how they show solutions. One of my dogs has OCD and the other is perfect in every way except she is obsessed with barking at passers by. It was so bad that she had to retire from being a service dog.
"he is a light chaser". Dang! Why does that sound like a line from a movie?
I'm going to credit you in the novel I'm writing based on this comment

The dog needs a job.l believe he is bored also.
Yes I agree they need to take him to a children hospital during the weekends for a few hours . and to a lake let him swim
Yes he seems so sweet :) he could be a visit dog for elders, they'd probably love to talk about his fur or something
Yes his face is soo cute! And he doesn't seem aggressive or bark a lot! If I was in the hospital it'd brighten my day to see him!
I could be remembering wrong, but I think Max was a retired military dog. He spent a lot of time in a room with a lot of mirrors on the wall, and his reflection obsession likely stemmed from that.
@@dontpugme yeah, you're right!

But the real question is:
Is your dog's hair also this fabulous? 🙃

we had a rescue dog that had ocd too and acted a lot like max. she wasn't obsessed with like, but she would frequently pace around rooms and dig at corners or spots in the floor. she was so sweet and we dont know what she was obsessed with, but being a border collie, she had a lot of energy and would go all day without any attention to food or to us.
