    Just realised.. in Germany you could travel this summer by train (nationwide!) for only a few euros a month. Hence the busy railway stations and trains.
    And as the cheese shop concerns in Kampen. There is more then Gouda Cheese. 😁

    Glad you are all safe.. Remember, some say its the journey and not the destination that is special.. But i think in your case, the destination is more special and more relief for your family.. Hope the journey that is not on camera was not too stressful.. remember again, its all an experience and you are with all your family. can't go wrong with that right??? hehehe. all the best.

    I suppose you guys were in Europe during the summer? The German railways had a promotion that offered unlimited travel for only 7 euro for a whole month or something as an experiment. I've heard it was crazy.

    When you guys were in Germany we still had a really cheap ticket for most trains and buses were you can travel trough the complete country for 9€ and that’s why it was so packed. Had the same issue back in July. 🙈

    Car rental in Europe is a problem this year thanks to the corona pandemic, lots of rental firms did not buy new cars for 2 years, so there is a massif shortage and they are extremely expensive to rent,

    Well, you had very difficult trips from Denmark 🇩🇰 to Germany 🇩🇪 to arrived Netherlands 🇳🇱 with tight schedule.
    The trains are very sensitive with scheduling to travel to the route area. I’m glad your children ain’t complaining about trains.
    I noticed Bethany used sign language with Levi. It’s very beautiful structures in Netherlands 🇳🇱.
    It’s very historic buildings in Europe. See ya next adventure trips on TH-cam videos!

    Rental car services being closed at a major transportation hub that still has thousands of people passing through just seems ridiculous. Oh, well. When in Rome, deal with the crappy service.

      @@BoydFamilyAdventures Not enough people on this little world yet?

    • @BoydFamilyAdventures
      @BoydFamilyAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of Canada is vast wilderness. We immigrate 300,000 people per year with hopes to increase that number to 500,000 per year. We are facing a huge labour shortage and in the very near future a huge wave of retirees. Canadians do not produce enough children. On average most Canadian couples only create 1.5 children. We took this crisis seriously and hit a home run with 8. Everyone is free to live the life they wish! We love having a large family but totally understand that it’s not for everyone!! Small families are awesome too. Also choosing not to have children is fine too!

    • @hvermout4248
      @hvermout4248 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BoydFamilyAdventures You're right, a lot of Canada is wilderness. But that doesn't mean it's empty. Many species living there. These also need their space. With eight billion (!) people on this world, global warming, resource scareness and several other mammals reduced to a few thousand I would have thought that in the 21th century the understanding has set in that we can't keep multiplying forever ...

    • @BoydFamilyAdventures
      @BoydFamilyAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really believe our world has lots of brilliant ideas to tackle these problems without harming the humans or reducing the human population. Sustainability must include the humans and must be scalable. Knowing that majority of couples don’t replace themselves indicates we will have a future problem.

    Canada doesn't have great cheese making skills compared to Europe!! Jealous of Gouda!!

    • @Fjodor.Tabularasa
      @Fjodor.Tabularasa 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I live a few stone throws away (ok have to throw a few hundred times actually :) from Gouda and I really don't like cheese very much. But Gouda cheese is one of the very few cheeses I can semi 'enjoy' because the taste is so mild. Am not sure I that's a good thing though.
      Quite many local farmers still make their own cheese to sell, which I find remarkable in these times.
