- In this video I fix up a old school Dyno Nitro I gave my brother 20 years ago. This is a start to finish ground up rebuild packed into 15 minutes. This is not a video packed with information its just to satisfy those that want to see a rebuild finished in 15 minutes or less.

My first cool bike I ever got was a GT dyno nitro!! Dude in high school got a mustang, didn't ride his bike anymore. Said if my brother mowed his parents yard, and $20 I could have it. In 1999 lol. I was 13. A year later, I was caught ridin on a street I wasn't allowed to, my Mom took it to the dump, gave it to the dump man.. Then I built a huffy flatbed, (all I had) she took that mug to the dump too. She bought me a Royce union a while later.
Cool. I have had some bikes in the past that I wish I had held onto them. Thanks!
Nice looking bike
UMMM OK...LOL.
Thanks.
Awesome bike. Reminds me of the GT freestyle bike I had when I was younger.
Thanks!
You did an amazing job from beginning to end
Thank you.🙂
Came out great!! I just bought a 97 nitro 24” back to life. 👍👍
Thank you!
Thankyou. Bro. I loveyou
Thank you.
I'm not gonna lie,,the slow mo of you wiping the bike down was kinda wierd Ike! LOL great stuff man!!
Thank you.
Lookin good.
Thank you!
Great rejuvenation.
Thank you!
Very nice work. I had no clue Ike had a twin or a brother that owned a bicycle shop! So cool great work my friend.
Thank you!
@@alloutbikes I have a super nice survivor 92 dyno compe. Navy blue and white.
Mine was chrome and black. Had the kickass clear grips so you could see the blue and yellow GT sticker under on the handlebars.
I remember when we were building these bikes back in the 90's we used WD40 to install grips. The black grips worked great. The clear grips were littering the floor after a couple of days. Thanks.
Those clear ones were just so cool to me lol. That bike was the coolest on the block.
I loveyou you guys. Thnkyou
Thank you.
I have the same one
Great bikes.👍
SUPER JOB ! ! ! , I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO TAKE THE FRAME APART AND REMOVE THE RUST INSIDE THE PIPES...LOL. HAVE YOU EVER REMOVED RUST ON CHROME WITH A ALUMINUM FOIL BALL? IT DOSE NOT CREATE FINE HAIR SCRATCHES ON THE CHROME THAT GIVES IT A SLIGHT DULL LOOK. GIVE IT A TRY ONCE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS.
I will do a future video on that method. Thanks!
THAT'S EXACTLY LIKE MINE I HAD! My forks where black but dude!
Do you know what year it was?
@@alloutbikes no idea. I remember the tire side walls were just a little aged, I'm guessing it was about 5 years old in 99.
I miss this bike I had it in 92 wonder what its worth now
What did you use for polish
First I used #0000 steel wool. I then wiped it down with gun oil. Lastly I used Mothers aluminum polish.👍
What do you use for chrome polish
Sorry I missed your question. I like to use Blue Magic metal polish cream. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.👍
@@alloutbikes thank u very much
The background stuff makes it difficult to focus on the bike the video is about - I would hang a sheet or something behind it so the viewer can focus on the subject at hand - just a helpful tip , not trying to be a Richard or anything … LOl
If you see some of my later videos I got a nice screen. Thanks for your input. 👍
