Looks like a case of "They ran out of funds and had to release" ASAP. Problem is when AAA developers leave their big companies to go on their own to start a new studios are used to work with enormous budgets, but hit a wall when they realize that they don't have enough resources to produce everything they had in mind. Some are clever and cut back early enough, but others are too ambitious and keep going out of pride, which leads to lack of polish.
Is this why they are classed as “Double A” titles due to it being a small studio that lacks funding for further polish etc. Very interesting theory on devs though. I really want to see them stick it out and develop the game further though. It has a lot of promise.
ohhhh that is disappointing to hear! I played it at Gamescom and I thought it was okay but that game was kicking my bum! I am yelling at 'it was hurting my eyes'
When you are moving in the wrong direction it does not matter how much you walk
Giving them more time and money would just make the failure bigger.
Are you sure about that? we've seen games historically turn things around at times...
I think its fair to give them more time to see what they can do.
I'm playing it on my PS5 and i'm enjoying it! I accept it for what it is and I completely agree with you on the frame rate!
I think i'll revisit the game once it receives a few more patches.

Its a shame because i want to see this game do well but the unstable frame rate is really doing it a massive disservice imo.
And does it matter ? 😄
i believe so yes...
It was written by literal amateurs with a terrible track record of success.
I’d like to see if they develop the game further as it has promise
