If your trailer is getting violations then you’re doing something wrong. Inspect your trailer, stop being lazy and you won’t have issues. I’ve worked for multiple companies with various quality when it came to equipment and I never have had a violation, if something is broken you get on their ass to fix it and that’s that. You will sit more hauling a reefer but loads typically pay more in my experience. $1500 in a week as an O/O is dogshit, don’t work for anything less than $2500-3000 minimum take home a week after expenses. Smaller companies are the best to work, you’ll make maximum income and get treated far better.

And most of them come from LA. More if it’s further away. Edit: and they pay us, the company drivers, $25.50/hour starting. With great benefits.

Yo TB the trailer my company has me hauling id's illegal as hell their telling me to pay to get it legal and they will reimburse me. Is that a suckers deal? Should I refuse to drive? I honestly really can't afford to pay for that out of pocket right now I mean I could but my family needs that money and its not my trailer.
