Excellent presentation skills. You present complex concepts in simple ways, thank you for that. Please make more of these videos especially for the upcoming 5G. And BIG THANK YOU!
wow! you are good at explaining difficult concepts in simple way. Are there any videos on QoS management specifically related to PCRF. If so, please do share.
Hi Irfan, under GTP-C you mentioned UDP protocol .....why we are not using SCTP(25th minute video) ? in other signalling cases between UE and MME we are using SCTP please clarify.
SCTP is used between the ENB and MME. One of the main reasons was that SCTP natively supports "multi-homing", i.e. there can be two different paths between the eNB and MME as part of one "SCTP socket". This provides reliability. In the core network, the MME and SGW are probably in the same data-center and hence "multi-path" support is not needed. Hence GTP-C uses UDP and not SCTP.
@@IrfanAli-nz7mbHi Irfan, Could you please provide any pcap traces available for end to end call flow of LTE attach? Really helpful if you can share this on my mail id dhana2sekhar@gmail.com..many thanks!
You are welcome. Not sure what you mean by RACHING procedure. If it is Random Access Procedure, in LTE Attach Part 3 initial portion provides an overview of how the random access procedure works (at a high level).

outstanding presentation sir..and the depth of knowledge that you have is awesome.
By far the most technically detailed and well explained 4-part series about LTE, thank you for this!
Just a Correction :
At 4:32 , Its EMM stands for EPS Mobility Management
Excellent explanation Sir! All 4 parts are very well put together! Please continue your good work!
Excellent explanation of LTE call flows and processes, thanks, Irfan. Worth watching
Thanks Irfan. Very nice. Able to recollect lots of my knowledge after watching all four parts.
Thanks a lot to cleared doubts.
extraordinary explainatio on attach procedure...will wait for tracking area update...detach & handover scenarios....if possible plz make videos..
very informative and nicely explained. Please do similar video for 5g core and RAN
nice your explanation so clear
Thank you very much, Explained well and simple way.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge

Hello Sir Will you please make a video on LTE International Roaming & how actually it works ..Thanks
What is "PrioritisedBitRate: infinity or 8kBps " means and what is "BucketSize"??
