1. turn on highbeams
2. put on sunglasses
3. tailgate (optionally set them on fire)
4. if congested, floor brakes at last second
5. dont let your car break down. you own your car, it doesn't own you.
6. if car catches fire, drive around like hellrider (your sunglasses will help here)
7. if another vehicle catches fire, set yourself on fire too. dont let them be cooler than you

When I went to Italy they had the tunnel through the mountains. You would enjoy them . Drove from Milan upto bormio . Then I did the cycled the stelvio mortirollo still have nightmares about it . The first 50km was down hill basically 30miles . Had closed roads . Then went down to lake como . Then was on the border with Switzerland. As I'd hired a car it meant freedom .if I remember correctly I was only hundred pounds for the week probably more now.

In my 1962 Morris Minor most of this is irrelevant. It doesn't have a radio or hazard warning lights.
