You should do a section, on how well it's designed for weight distribution, I bought a backpack a while pack and found it tiring to carry and heavy on my back. I've since switched and my new backpack, which doesn't stress my back and feels much lighter, as the weight is more evenly distributed. If you plan on spending good money on a bag like this, this should be a key consideration.
Thanks. I wish you'd mention how light or heavy those bags when they are empty. Some backpack can add an extra two kilos and that would be deal breaker
I like how you mentioned "camera enthusiasts" for the Peak Design backpack. I think it would be a great idea to have a compilation video like this of backpacks for camera enthusiasts like me; where we carry minimal photo gear (dslr+1 extra lens)with a good amount of everyday gear!
Exactly what I’ve been searching for. Mirrorless/dslr plus one extra lens and lots of everyday gear (laptop, iPad, water bottle, maybe a jacket). Don’t need a dedicated camera section taking up half the space but would be great to have a dedicated SMALL section for camera. Thinking about a good backpack + camera insert/cube - but a built in dedicated space would be great! Even better if it’s somehow detachable into a smaller camera bag :) 😆
@@birazan The WNDRD PRVKE 21 is a decent choice for that in my opinion. It's a 21 litre everyday backpack with camera cubes in variable sizes which you can buy alongside in a bundle. There's a compartment for one camera and an extra lense (or two), a medium sized compartment which fills a bit less than half of the bag and one cube that's filling the whole bag.
Appreciate your reviews. If you had to choose one backpack to wear for a whole day walking around which one would you say would be the most comfortable physically on your shoulders and back to wear?
Thank you for mentioning the Tom Bihn Synapse and Synik ranges! They are truly fantastic EDC backpacks with excellent organisation, ample storage, and top-notch construction. Although we might have missed including them in the video, we appreciate you highlighting their remarkable features and benefits. Your input is valuable, and we'll definitely keep these backpacks in mind for future recommendations. Thanks a lot for watching and sharing your insights!
i use a tom bihn. i love that it is built around the water bottle as a full 32oz hydro flask is heavy and having it on a side pocket through off all the balance. only wish the laptop pocket was against the back. i like stuff to lay flat in my back
These are nice, but I prefer the rolltop backpack because of its versatility. Now I am using CarryNaut Nomad, and I love it. I want to get Braasi Evo II in my backpack collection in the future.
Hello. Thanks for your feedback! I totally get how an anti-theft pocket would be a game changer. I'll make sure to pass your suggestion along to the brands we collaborated with. Hopefully, future designs will include that feature! Cheers!
I've seen many bags review. Pardon me for saying this.. When you sat down and do the review, and you position those bag further ahead of you...the bags seems to look so large though you mention the capacity about it.
Crazy that we live in a world where we can see people even demo something as trivial as a backpack. Are you not getting the scale portion by seeing him wear it? Because of flight stowage restrictions I always have to search the actual dimensions. This guy’s a smaller frame in general so seeing him wear doesn’t give me a lot, to be fair.
Deuter Up Seoul - laptop compartment with false bottom, internal and external bottle compartment (but not usable at the same time), two conveniently placed external pockets, some light organization in main compartment (not over engineered), some weather resistance, not too big (but can expand if needed), can fit gym stuff, comfortable, nice design and colors to choose from, very affordable, lifetime warranty, made out of recycled plastic bottles ❤️
Great video guys and I don't even like backpacks. My everyday carry is a duffle from Waterfield designs, but partial to a messenger or sling. Keep the top 5s coming.
I love my Vanquest Addax 25 (also available in 18L). I wanted size but not massive and I wanted multiple compartment pockets instead of a single main storage. The Addax ticks all these boxes except for external water bottle (which I carry internally anyway.)
I just have the anello backpack. It's like one big hole where I can shove all my things. I feel like pockets slows me down during packing hahaha but these are great backpacks. Might invest in one soon.
What about a backpack by heimplanet? Im thinking to buy the Heimplanet transit 28l. As a teacher I need a bigger backpack with some organisation compartments. And because I live in Germany this backpack is the easiest for me to get without paying any taxes.
Black ember would've been perfect but waterbottle next to my laptop and tablet is such a no go, can't understand why they do that. Difficult to find a bag that fits 15-16" mbp and 12.9" iPad pro with suspended pockets and separate water bottle pocket.

@@RushfasterTV Also, I was eyeing it for a few months before getting it. It was after watching Rushfaster’s review that I finally decided to go for it.
@@liorajacob8094 I don’t really have a solid answer to that. Before this I had a Crumpler Hidden Retreat which I only used for a few months. And before that I was always rotating between briefcases and messenger bags. The Bellroy is definitely an upgrade; quality, design, size and functionality-wise. Also it’s one of the very few backpacks that doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb in more formal settings.
thank you for the very cool videos, thanks to you I fell in love with Peak design bagpack, we are thinking with my girlfriend to buy a couple of pieces
Have you heard a brand named “life behind bars” ? I think they have some interesting backpack and messenger bag design functionality. Can you review them?
I’m very much convinced that AER, Alpaka and other Chinese brands are under the same company. They use so much of xpac materials with that bright Orange interior…
Reviews I've read talk about how unreliable the Bellroy Melbourne is. I love the look and idea of it, but have been put off buying it because it sounds like it can't be trusted to stay closed. Any comments about that?
I LOVE my Bellroy Melbourne backpack. I recent got it and went on a 2 day trip. Tbh I do understand peoples concern with the magnets but it’s actually pretty strong. Normal carry through the city is perfectly fine. I never got issues with it opening. In fact, I’d say it’s quite fun to open and access my items. I packed my backpack about 85% full.
Big bags - who uses 28L for everyday use? Lots of people, presumably, but not me. I prefer to leave the kitchen sink behind when commuting daily to work and when doing day trips for leisure.

19:08 I sure hope that’s the future of tech focused backpacks! I shouldn’t have to be buying separate organizers to organize my bag.
Thanks.

What would be a good compact (18L or less) everyday bag? I don't need a laptop compartement.
Any 3 way/convertibles on the list ? Backpack with a shoulder strap.
Thanks. Any recommendations for replacing my beloved blade 30 travel backpack? His stability is insane.
Could the Aer Tech Folio 13" fit in the Aer City Pack ? I have the City Pack on the way and was thinking of adding the Tech Folio as a laptop sleeve.
I'm leaning toward the black ember citadel but also considering the peak design everyday
