Awesome video dude! I just took my buddy who just started playing on some ground vehicle adventures on Microtech and he was blown away by the size of the game and how fun it was being able to drive up any mountains and then look out over the horizon knowing you can go anywhere you see with no load screens. We got lost so went up a mountain at night and could see the lights on our ships in the distance and was able to make it back. So fun.
That sounds like an epic adventure! There's really something incredibly immersive about Star Citizen which some veteran backers end up taking for granted. But it's just so ingrained in every aspect of the game (from no loading screens to the scenery and beyond); it's wonderful to see in the eyes of a new player!
@@ViciDeum haha dude it's honestly something I forget to take in and is one of the biggest reasons why I like to play with people new to the game. We take for granted how great this game truly is sometimes and through the eyes of new players and going on those random adventures is a good reminder for me.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words and I’m glad you’ve been enjoying my content! And I’ll be here every Fri at 3PM to produce more amazing new videos each week 😁👍
Can't wait for the Ranger though. Its small enough to fit in most ships with a small cargo bay (135c, 300-series, avenger, ...) but is still a ground vehicle that wont be targetted by AA Turrets you find at bunkers. Until then I use my baserunner, I mean my Ursa Rover, for excursions.
Besides Titan Suits the Rangers are my most anticipated ground vehicle yet released! I love motorcycle riding IRL and can’t wait to get my hands on a space bike! And the URSA is an awesome stand-in during the interim!
@@CathrineMacNiel Yea you’ve definitely got to be careful! I always wear full armor and high viz gear but it’s the other people you got to be aware of! But it would be awesome with a shield bubble hahaha
The NOX is a fantastic snub with a lot of versatility in the ships it can stow aboard! And I’m looking forward to the Ranger series as well for this exact thing!
Definitely need to pick up the ROC. Not much into combat unless I have to defend myself so I enjoy deliveries and cargo but may need to get into mining also.
Well done with this top 5 list! It really isn't easy to pick and rank 5 vehicles, given the variety of worthy choices. I also intend to buy most ground vehicles in-game, but I do intend to eventually add 1 or 2 ground vehicles to my acct hangar - maybe the Centurion, Cyclone MT, and/or Nova Tank.
Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed this! And it was quite hard to narrow down my choices, but I think these do a great job highlighting some of the very best! And while it’s a good value to pickup these in game, there’s nothing wrong with locking down some of your favorites in cash 😁👍
I’ve currently got a soft spot for the Mule as a really versatile and decent speed option that easily fits in the likes of the Cutty Black and 400i, and the Apoa Nox because it’s cool and looks straight out of Star Wars.
I have been torn between the star runner and the corsair as I love the aesthetic of the corsair but I can fit an stv into the mercury and still have 105 scu of cargo. I'm thinking ues.
They’re both awesome ships albeit for different roles! The Corsair is very strong and defensible, but the MSR has the cargo capacity and versatility! I’d go Corsair personally, as the other MSR features like data running just aren’t in yet!
Excellent list, but I would have put the Ursa in the #1 spot since it's so versatile. The portability is there vs the reliance on the Herc series to move the Ballista around.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed this video! And the URSA is truly an incredible ground vehicle, versatile and easily storable amidst a variety of ships; it’s my current favorite!
I dont really have use for ground vehicle much besides the occasional time i do bunkers when the turrets attack. stv or cyclone would prob be my choice of transport. neither on this list though. i have used a roc though but not for a while now too many 30ks put me off.🙃 and the other ground vehicle i think i would like is the mule. but if i could only have one off your list...for getting around and exploring and the storage...for these reasons I would choose the Ursa Rover😀
I agree, sadly there isn’t much gameplay supporting ground vehicles atm, but I hope they change that in the near future! And I pick similar choices when I want to mess around with them; the Cyclones are awesome for their speed and maneuverability, but for exploration and overall utility, its hard to go wrong with the URSA Rover!
Checkout the website “erkul.games” Not only does it have a full list of every ship and vehicle, but where to buy all of them, each component to upgrade, build load-outs, and so much more!
The only one worth it is the Roc due to the fact everything else is hardly ever used. The whole AA thing only works when you have to defend an area people want to come to otherwise pointless IE Jumptown.
Most of these vehicles are too big and can only be carried by the heaviest ships. I prefer the lighter vehicles that fit into something like a Cutlass Black or Corsair.
That’s true, they’re definitely a bit too gamey atm, although they’re already well under way in a complete rework that should retool their driving model much more realistically!
When you said "Rev up your engines" I totally imagined Scotty saying it. Can't tell you how hard I laughed when you referenced him right after.
Hahaha, I’m glad you enjoyed that! Scotty is the GOAT 🙌!
Carrack with C8R in hanger and Ursa Rover in garage is the ultimate bunker busting F.O.B.
Absolutely! And I’m looking forward to when that setup is a beast at exploration and not just bunkers 🙌
You just described my setup.
I have a cyclone in the hanger, loaded with a 1scu box
IF you have a Carrack, the C8R is redundant, might as well get the C8X
@@ViciDeum what are the top 5 best ground vehicles in 3.19.1 now?
I take the Ursa to "Clear All" bunkers for turret free infil and storage exfil...
Those turrets can be a real pain sometimes and is one of the great use cases for ground vehicles! And awesome for storage like you mention!

Good information, I've been using the Cyclone on the bunker missions that I have to clear out the nine tails.
The Cyclone is an awesome runabout for bunkers and just a blast to ride! And good luck hunting out there 🙌
Very underrated channel! Your videos are great keep up the good work my dude I love the content!

I like the look of the Ursa
It’s an awesome vehicle with an amazing aesthetic!
I'm leaning toward the Nox simply because it's so more likely to fit inside of a vehicle than the other "bikes".

Mining is a great atmospheric moneymaker and the ROC is a perfect pairing!

It really is an awesome looking ship! And I’m looking forward to ground vehicles getting even more love in the future!
Was getting real Halo vibes from those intro shots!
The Tumbril Cyclone is definitely Warthog inspired!
"NOVA TONK!"
Hahaha, TONK LIFE ❤️!
The scotty reference 😂
I’m glad someone caught it!

Only real criticism of the Ursa is its size limits what ships can carry it. But agree it’s definitely a top 5.
Why is the worm not in yet ? :(
I know 😩 I want this worm in the game so bad! I suspect it’ll be quite a long time until we see it though.
In game I use ursa… but I love my nox just for exploring planet side
The URSA has so much utility, but for aesthetics the NOX is hard to beat!
can someone please tell me which planet the giant worms fly out of the ground killing everyone?!?!
It’s Leir III but it hasn’t been introduced into the game yet!

I’d love to see price point and a location to buy if you make a video like that again. As a newer player this list is great but not informative

I agree it’s definitely the most useful out of the lineup, but with future gameplay iterations, more ground vehicles will definitely be supported!

I actually tend to prefer the smaller ones myself as well!
