Abby is from my hometown. Her family’s posts on Facebook are heartbreaking. I can truly say the past two weeks, I’ve laid in bed at night trying to imagine what she went through. How scared she was, her pain, etc. it’s kept me up a lot. His bond should be more than 250,000. Dusty old piece of shit.

I feel bad for this young girl. I myself was an entertainer for several years and the customers that come in most of them are lonely, creepy guys and they do stalk you. The customers get obsessed with the girls. The girl's really are there just for the money they're not looking to get into relationships with these guys but these guys unfortunately they makeup this fantasy Life in their head and they get obsessed with the dancers it's crazy. It's actually very scary. When I used to work in that entertainment business I had a few guys following me.

My blood ran cold when you said her last name was “Saldana”. For those old enough to remember there was an actress named Teresa Saldana who was stalked and attacked and stabbed 10 times by a deranged, obsessed fan back in the early 80s. Numerous people saw the attack but only one person stop to try to help. Saldana survived the attack and became an advocate for victims of stalkers. Saldana died in 2016, her attacker was a drifter from Scotland who served 14 years in prison for the attack was eventually sent back to the United Kingdom where he was tried for another crime and eventually died in a psychiatric hospital.

I am from Huntsville AL, we have had some horrible murders here in Madison county. This one is definitely one of the worse, another happened in 2018 a grandmother was murdered in front of her 13yr old granddaughter, then they took the 13yr old down the road and decapitated her. There is no justice when it comes to murder and I know that from personal experience. My niece, Tiffany Kelley, was also brutally murdered in 2018 by a young couple who asked her for help at a Dollar General. Some people are just plain evil....

When you are doing this type of work or stripping DO NOT give these men any idea that they have a chance with you it’s not worth it DO NOT give them GFE because these men are Vulnerable and unstable because that extra attention you give them may be putting your life in danger be upfront with them in the beginning so that will stay a business transaction and only that.

It doesn’t matter. She made it clear she wasn’t into him when she went to the police about him obsessing. Even before that, she let him know which is probably what led him to put tracker on her car. Plus, no one can explain reality to a psycho/sociopath/malignant Narcissist. He was old knowledgeable, & dusty. She was young, 22, with a 5 year old & barely understood that there are truly sick, evil, manipulative men in the world. Why make her out to be the bag guy here? No one told Stan’s evil self to keep going to her job, harassing her, manipulating her to accept his money. I wonder if the parents of this woman who was murdered by the stalker will feel compassion for the killer because of his mental state? Personally, all my compassion is for the family of the woman and as little as none for the murderer himself. Plenty of people have mental issues, or have had bad upbringing, and don’t kill other people. This whole stripper/infatuated patron is an oft told tale and is a fools fantasy to think that they will live happy ever after. Loneliness can be toxic, and this unfortunately is the worst case scenario. And all she was trying to do is support her young son as a single mother. As for Stan, my money says he’s had women problems all his life, and his police record will no doubt confirm that!

Who knows what she was saying behind close doors so he would keep giving her thousands. In his mind he thought there was really a relationship with her. And then when she laughed at him that was his breaking point. I’m not excusing his actions but women need to realize a lot of these men are perverts and psychos! This is a very dangerous profession! We saw the same thing happen with another young woman recently. Prayers for her family and I hope Stan never gets out! I have also seen this before first hand. I feel like one huge thing that isn’t addressed here is, why she didn’t feel going to the police would offer her protection. I know that it would not. But my point is that this is a perfect scenario where she should have been able to get help from authorities before it escalated to this point. I know in other countries I have visited, the police actually make the community feel safe, and would get involved in a positive way to protect people in these vulnerable situations. Policing in the United States, much like healthcare, is not set up to help individuals. It’s set up for power and personal gain. Sad. She deserved more. Her son deserved more.

This is going to sound weird, but I feel pity for stalkers. I still believe they're awful and should be stopped. But I was stalked for 8 years, well 8 years is when I finally managed to stop them for the most part. This person went to amazing lengths to ruin my life. And the person is just so consumed by thoughts of you, it's scary as heck! But it must be a horrid way for them to live too. I can't even imagine being that wound up by some other person's life and movements that it takes so much of my energy, time and thoughts. They need some very specific mental health help. They're sick and dangerous, and can be fatal in their obsession. Stalking needs to be taken seriously in every case. My stalker had an 'in' with the police, being an informant so they refused to help me. The judge was astounded that the police let this person stalk me for so long and wouldn't help. He almost didn't believe me, but I'd documented everything.

Obviously, it's transactional. These messages sound like he didn't pay her, because he thought they were in a relationship. So... yeah, he tricked her i.e. scammed her. And then he got mad she wasn't on his demand. That's bullsh*t. We wouldn't demand a free manicure or a free coaching session, so why are we not seeing he's a fraud?
This whole case screams misogyny. Violence against women is treated very lightheartedly. Violence (and prejudice!) against s*x workers has been high for decades, despite the feminist movements.
Also, the word 'prostitute' is considered offensive, we should use 's*x worker' instead. Str*ppers are reclaiming their name, 'exotic dancer' sounds a little sugar coating, even patronising. I'm censoring myself, because social media algorithms are what they are.

Please, forgive me if my comment sounds rude - English is not my first language, so sometimes it's hard for me to express my thoughts in an elegant way.

Rhonda seemed to take all her anger out on the unborn baby. I know what she did to the baby after cutting her out. Rhonda had no remorse for murdering this baby.
Her anger was misplaced. Its her husband she should have lashed out at. He caused the whole situation

I think Ms. Garcia is beautiful always, but she is absolutely stunning in this podcast! I think the color choices really suit her!
Please don't get me wrong, I watch every week because I love her perspective on the cases and usually her thoughts are spot on with mine! I can't think of anyone I'd rather hear my true crime from!

He's going down. The relationship turned sour due to them having their regular visit and him not having her regular fee. And tried to play it off like don't you like me? Can't I slide with not paying this time. And she wasn't having it. But she's not here to cosign on that. They need to make an example of him. There are alot of clubs like this in Dallas and sketchy men all up in these clubs and they need to know this ain't gonna fly. Rip baby girl. You didn't deserve this. He was completely delusional especially when he's been "tricking" with other dancers. She made that clear. But I never understood men who pay for sex outing prostitutes. Like sir, until you didn't get your way you were regularly and happily paying her for sex, what does that make you????

To hell with the fantasy movie Pretty Women, right ? Hollywood has screwed up the brains of American women and men .

People these days are more on edge than usual. It is never ok to murder someone that hurts your feelings, betrays you, etc. She played him and he got upset. No winners here. She lost her life and he is about to lose his. Ladies, be safe out there. Be upfront and explicitly clear about your intentions. Men should do the same. The money /gifts is not worth attracting the sort of predator that will kill you to make a point.

Abbie hustled old Stan. ie made promises she had no intention of keeping in order to get the money
She kept the game going for awhile
Eventually when he realized she wasn’t sincere (& never had been) & flipped out
Abbie didn’t realize or factor in that Stan was/is mentally unstable
Tread carefully when you play with peoples emotions
