And you wonder why this church is filled every Sunday 🙏🏻 Because of this wonderful Father, this Priest, his teaching is with such passion 💕, he is truly God Send 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you, Fr. Mike! Your sermons provide information ( catechesis) and inspiration. This is a special gift. We are blessed because God uses you to teach and inspire us.
You move my heart with your truthful and powerful explanations! More people should take time to listen to you and open their eyes to the faith, and put aside earthly desires. Do you want to share in eternal life? The other option is damnation! Repent and believe before it's too late!
Father Mike, Here From Argentina I Want To Thank You For This explanation. I be Following You For About an year. I Would Like To add The Jesus Made It more Easy For Us to eat the Eucharist keeping the apariencia of host instead of flesh. Let him continuying blessing you.
Father Mike, this is the best homily I have ever heard on John 6:51-58! Your Homilies are over the top good! And inspiring! God bless you and your parish! Thank you to your family who brought you up to know and love God resulting in so many of us being fed by your words, reflecting His Word! - John in Horseheads, NY

How I wish the priests and nuns who taught in the 60s and 70s had done so with the passion of Fr Mike. I may not have spent 40+ years as a fallen away sinner! Thank you Heavenly Father for giving us Father Mike
Father your sermon is very specific in pointing out where Jesus was leading his followers & meaning of what he was saying "Eat My Body & drink My Blood" including the representative definitions of quotes from the Old Testament Covenant to the New Testament Covenant. God bless you as the shepherd of your flock 🐏🐑🙏
Thank you Fr. Mike for your excellent homily!!! I pray that all Catholics may come to believe with all their hearts in the true presence of God in the Eucharist and not only will we have more priestly vocations but also very long lines waiting to adore Him in Adoration Chapel and long lines for confessions!!! Just ask the Lord for the graces to increase your faith He will do it ❤ and pray the rosary 📿✝️🙏🏻
Thank you fr Mike God bless you ❤ please keep me in your prayers I'm going for medical testing in Boston on Wednesday Aug 21st praying God sends knowledge to Dr's father son holyspirit Amen ❤🙏✝️🛐🌟🕊✨️
Thank you Fr. Mike and God bless. Powerful sermon. Im sure if I would have lived during that time, it would be hard to hear Jesus' controversial message.
Father Mike, another great homily. Regarding the lack of belief in the True Presence of our Lord in the Holy Eucharist, I challenge with this question: Where do devil worshipers go when they wish to steal a communion host? A Methodist church? Lutheran? Maybe they go to Episcopalian? NO! They go only to Catholic parishes! Why? Even the devil, demons and devil worshipers believe in the True Presence of our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. Please, you nominal Catholics, BELIEVE!!! (By the way, I read the book you showed and it is a fantastic book.) And Father, next week, in the final Sunday of the Discourse of the Holy Eucharist, I would like to direct everyone's attention to the significance of the chapter (6 of course) and verse number where the disciples turned away from Jesus.
It's very sad that some Catholics and many Protestants don't believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. How can they be so blind? Jesus makes it clear that the bread and wine aren't merely symbols. He said that it is His Body and His blood. Jesus didn't say this represents my Body. This sermon should be heard in every church around the World.
How can anyone evaluate anothers psychological condition without speaking to them outside of a deception??? Especially a deception said person is aware of ... That would be very pompous to believe ones deception is so engrained and perfect before all others eyes to believe you can evaluate the psychological condition of another within it, with any kind of accuracy, and judge THEM negatively because of it. Especially when this world is crumbling and dying Your moves are so incredibly obvious to everyone now, everything you do gives you away and I LOVE IT!!!
Father Mike what can we do here in scotland. We are not given the blood of Jesus. I have asked why I've been told that the people in our parish do not want to receive the blood because they might get Covid. It's heartbreaking. Is our priest the only one who will have Life in him. Has the Church in scotland become a democracy. Please pray for us. Love and God bless you. Veronica
The traditional teaching of the Church is that Jesus is wholly and truly present Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity in each of the Holy Species. Before the 1960s or thereabouts, the Blood was not offered any where in the whole Church, except possibly in the Eastern Rites. So you are not missing out, you are not being deprived regardless of the crazy reason given by the priest. My God bless you. Be at peace.
I'm sorry but Jesus didn't say eat my body or drink my blood. He was emphatic in His words, eat my body and drink my blood. Tradition is not static it is alive and it grows and develops. I'm 75 and am very aware of how Tradition develops. Thank God for all these movements and developments. Love and God bless you. It was a Tradition in a family to half the turkey at Christmas before cooking it. This continued for a number of generations
@@filmcriticscott5856 Fun family tradition with the half turkey. My husband tried to barbecue half a turkey on our grill. It was a big fiasco! The turkey burst into flames. It was a huge mess. Thank goodness we had a fire extinguisher nearby.
We must receive the body blood soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ in faith and reverence, and I do not agree with receiving our Lord, his blessed body, his blessed blood soul and divinity by peoples hands. I struggle with that since Vatican too struggle with people coming to communion That don’t Jen don’t bow just put their hands out and receive and then walk back from the older with her hand swinging along the sides. It’s difficult for me. I’m just a Lay person I want so much to speak to our priest and tell him there is a right way to come before the blessed sacrament before when you read when you’re receiving the blood of any day our Lord, there is not very much reverence and it bothers me a lot
Perhaps someone can help me with this, and I hope I'm not nitpicking. Fr. Mike said Jesus created something out of nothing. But my understanding is the five loaves and two fishes were first gifted, and that was a requirement for the miracle. So Jesus didn't create something from nothing but multiplied the original gift and that was the miracle. I just seem kind of mentally stuck on that right now. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you.
AFTER THE CONSECRATION BY THE PRIEST, IT IS THE GLORIFIED BODY, BLOOD, SOUL, AND DIVINITY.. THE PIECE OF HOST, THE BODY DROPPED INTO THE CHALICE, HIS BLOOD, IS REUNITED IN THE RESURRECTION. THE EUCHARIST NOT A MORTAL MAN, HE IS THE RISEN CHRIST NOW THE ANGEL OF DEATH, SATAN WILL PASSOVER THE ENTRANCE, YOUR MOUTH, ....

Our church in the US only distributes the Eucharist. The church doesn't offer wine at Mass. Covid is the reason I suppose?
