Father Mike, this is one of your most powerful homilies. You did not rant. You told it like it is. I am very grateful for that. I was once very naive and gullible. Not now. I am as faithful and trusting of God as I've ever been, while setting aside false prophets. God Bless you Father and thank you!!!

It was such a blessing to be able to go to mass and meet Father Mike a few weekends ago. He truly is a blessing to all who meet him. He even took the time to pray with us.

Most all churches that preach Christ. Doesn’t have to be Catholic Denominations. There are so many that teach the Bible. Foursquare, Assembly of Gods. Jesus Christ is God. Don’t go to another religion.

Please pray for my family to see their TRUE SINS because many are blinded by modernism; women refusing to serve their husbands and children and clean their homes even when they are retired or do not work. Refusing to see their state in life as homemaker to her husband. When she could be. This is a sin. Because it goes against charity and her state in life as wife and mother. Especially when her husband works exceedingly hard outside of the home. Please pray for our family and both genders to know and understand God's purpose & role in life in obedience to God by serving Him in service to their homes, spouse and family.
Why are you blaming the woman? Men are just at fault for ignoring their role, abuse, ignoring, treating wife as slave. Sickening. Read Proverbs 31:10-31. That is a Godly woman who is educated, intelligent, buys land, manufactures goods etc. Stop treating women as house slaves. Sound like you are bitter.
00:06:15 In the next couple of seconds, Fr. O'Connor tells us we must be born again. This is not a term that I ever heard as a Catholic growing up .... [ background: I left the Church in high school and renounced the faith however my family members are strict Catholics and I check in once in awhile. ] .... Would someone please explain what the Fr is referring to and is this backed by any scripture? If so, what is the scripture or scriptures. [ I'll use KJV, NKJV, NAS for specifics, and when I'm looking for the general theme and get an overall picture, I'll use the NIV and ESV ]

Being born again happens by water and the Holy Spirit. It happens in baptism. this is what I've found online. Feel free to call a priest and ask to be sure.
My sister was told by Priest it’s not for everyone. But the Bible says it is. John 3. The Greek literally means ‘born from above’. There is a baptism of water but then there is a Baptism of the Holy Spirit. All the gifts and calling in Corinthians are given the to serve God. Jesus was Baptized in water and then the Holy Spirit came upon Him. He explained to Nicodemus we must be of the Holy Spirit. It’s wonderful. My whole life changed for good since it happened to me. Not religion but spiritual.
