🥒Cucumber
✅Materials
10 white cucumbers,
1.5L of water, 1.8 cups of coarse salt, 1T of red pepper seeds, 1/4t of new sugar,
130ml soju, 3 bay leaves, 5 Vietnamese peppers (Cheongyang peppers)
(Baby leaves remove odor and have a preservative effect)
✅Cucumber making
1. Wash cucumbers
2. Blanch the cucumbers in boiling salt water for about 20 seconds and then cool them.
3. Put cucumbers in a container, pour cooled salt water, press down with a pressing stone, and store at room temperature for 4-5 days.
4. Filter only the cucumbers and salt water and store in the refrigerator.
🍅 Seasoned cucumber (based on 2 cucumbers)
1 green onion, 1 Cheongyang pepper, 1 red pepper,
1T red pepper powder, 1t minced garlic, 1T starch syrup, 1t plum liquid, 1T sesame oil, 1T sesame seeds
(Adjust salt and sugar levels to your preference)
▶Measuring tools used
T: Tablespoon(15ml)
t : teaspoon (5ml)
1 cup (C) = 200ml
