I’ve always loved the idea that the dark forest was a genuine hell scape where the cats inside actually suffered for the pain they caused others. In the books, they describe the dark forest as a place with no prey, so cats have to practice cannibalism to survive, amd try to survive for cannibal cats, It's so hard to get out of there and they say they call the ones that get to get out of there heroes. So practically: Starclan = heaven Dark forest = hell
I love that Dovewing’s lip-syncs are not a part of the songs lyrics and you just have to read her mouth, it gives more personality to the story, and the fact that it’s incredibly easy to read shows so much talent and skill.
Ok it's been over a week BUT: Can we just talk about what a GOAT Dovepaw is in this?? She immediately knew something was wrong with *₮ⱧɆ ⱧØⱠɆ* and tried to stop Ivypaw from going in, but followed her anyway. She navigated through the Dark Forest all alone while being attacked until she found Ivypaw, SAVED HER FROM HAWKFROST, and then led her out again. In the end, she made sure Ivypaw was safe and escaping from *₮ⱧɆ ⱧØⱠɆ* as well. TL;DR: i love Dovepaw.

I love how this breaks from the norm and shows ivypool being the more naive of the two- like shes usually potrayed as the more cold/resourcful one bc of the df training, but in the end she was the one getting played for a fool and getting her feelings manipulated in an obviously bad place...
Beyond everything everyone else has said about this absolute masterpiece, I want to add on my appreciation for your designs for Ivy and Dove. The fact that you animated their markings, especially Dove's fitting wing-shaped patterns, with spot-on consistency is truly remarkable. My favorite thing is that you gave them the same eye color to show that they're siblings, and perhaps that the two of them aren't so different. It might seem like a simple choice, but for me, it adds a whole other layer to this animation by connecting Ivy and Dove in a strong visual way.
A person with 8 thousand subscribers just dropped the best warriors AMV you've ever seen? It's more likely that you think EVery second of this is phenomenal but I ESPECIALLY love the shot at 2:27, the way Hawkfrost moves is so unsettling kjsdfhn
This is awesome-- The animation, the way that you've matched the events to the music so well, and just the dedication it must have taken to finish something like this all on your own. Just absolutely fantastic.
The really neat thing about the start of this is when you see Ivypaw being keen and curious about the tunnel, but Dovepaw being more cautious and wary, which suggests that she sensed the bad vibes off the tunnel with her powers, which is a nice touch.
Bro Hawkfrosts appearance is just PURRFECT! It’s just so genuinely like him, enraged and ready to kill. And the sisters (Dove and Ivy), despite their confliction throughout the story, you really capture how they still stick together. It’s just PURFECT! 10/10 would watch again, and again, and again, and again…

I've always thought you were some kind of genius prodigy. Every year I’m like, well, that person (YOU LOL) just raised the bar again. And now the bar is in the sky. I’m blown away by this. A complete story, absolutely beautiful visual direction throughout, super interesting parallels to canon events with Ivy being attracted to this place and Dove knowing they have to leave. I got chills when you put the lights in Ivy’s eyes. You seriously just dropped what is essentially a 4th year student film on TH-cam and you did it for fun… I can’t believe you. You are nuts. It’s rare to see a fully animated Warriors AMV nowadays that’s by one person, which makes it a wonderful treat when one does pop up. This is absolutely no exception. Everything about this is beautiful!

I don't think anyone's mentioned this yet but I LOVE the little marking dot next to Ivypaw and Dovepaw's eyes [one left one right] And how similar their designs are! It shows family resemblance that ppl tend to ignore
The story direction is so good!! There's a lot of action to follow, especially in the second half's chase scene, but it's very easy to follow the characters, understand what they're doing, see their thought process at work, etc. I especially liked the part where Ivypaw is walking through the tunnel of red lights. It's so enchanting and sinister at the same time! Not to mention impressive how you give the audience a chance or two to breathe and take everything in - even in a song as energetic and fast as this! You should be really proud!! Full AMVs are rare, so it's always nice to see people take on these kinds of solo projects!! It really displays the unique talents and sensibilities of an artist in a way MAPs just aren't capable of, and for that solo projects will always have a special place in my heart 💖💕💖💕 Subscribed!! :DDD
I love how this is A so visually appealing but also symbolic of their arcs. Ivypool is blissfully ignorant of the dark forest having fun and living I'm blissfully of the true danger she is in, while dovewing is in over hear head, she is trying to help her sister out of the dark forest while also trying to stop them all starting right after her apprentice ceremony. She wasn't eased into it rather dropped in and expected to fix it. But even so while dovewing does try to escape it at first focusing on tiger heart or normal squabbles when it comes to her sister she finally faces it and saves her. This really is great.
This is actually so fire??? Everything from the character and background designs to the pacing and animation is lovely! It shows some serious time and care put into all of it!
It was really awesome how Ivy looked so happy and innocent until she was chased down, really brings expression and passion into the context. One of my favorites for sure.
My jaw dropped multiple times. I’m at a complete loss for words. The colors, the expressions, the distinct fluidity. The buildup to this was SO worth it. Everything is so concise and clear, I got literal chills after finishing. I’ve loved your work for ages, but this is one of the best animations to join the Warrior Cats community. Just.. wow. This is easily the coolest Warriors AMV I’ve ever seen. You can easily follow the story and see Dove and Ivy’s personalities, and the ACTION SCENES are BEAUTIFUL!!! Above professional. I especially love this little part where Hawk look up as Dove is coming at him, so very cool 2:55
THIS WAS AMAZING!!! I can’t believe you did this all yourself, it takes me 2 hours to even draw a tail movement, you do outstanding work! I LOVED seeing these two work together as well, even just for a bit. If only in the books both girls would of taken a little more time to understand what the other was feeling, we could of had a bad ass sister crime fighting duo. On a separate note, I to would follow a glowy wisp to my death. On another separate note, that seems like a very intense game of tag, Hawkboi needs to calm down- Again, THIS WAS AMAZING!!!

They did not put in any animatronics sadly but all of this is mostly fake and something they made up and the white cat is dove paw and the grey and white cat is ivy paw (dove paw’s sister) ivy paw trained in the dark forest (this place and this is where bad cats go when they die) so lol there u go.

one of the many aspects in which I appreciate about this amv is how much detail was put into the atmosphere of each scene with progressively harsher, red lighting that almost serves as an indicator of the hellish environment. it's extremely immersive and the creativity and effort put into this amv SHOWS. the eye-pleasing, almost-cartoon style adds to the horror as well, with the peaceful opening to the amv quickly progressing into horror.
Ok, im going to ramble about everything in this animation because this is literally one of the best thing ive ever seen. Your artstyle is so unique and recognizable! Its so versatile, the way you draw ivypool and dovewing's all soft and round with te expressions and eyes makes them appear like a child cartoon style, but then it does a full 180 with the designs and gorey depiction of the dark forest cats, its genuinely so amazing!! Your animation is literally stunning, you understanding of weight, movement, perspective is literally professional level, the movements of the cats feel incredibly natural and tangible, its amazing to watch! Your colours and lighting create such a great atmosphere, i can tell you took a lot of time to think about how everything would look like, it makes every single part of this animation so satisfying! The pacing of this also flows so well, nothing felt out of place or too fast or slow, the build up and tension of it all was just perfect. God, the fact you dont have more support on your channel is wild to me, ive been a fan for a while and ive watched a ton of your videos, and the ideas you have are so creative and enthralling and the way you execute them is amazing, more people need to see your work! I cannot sing enough praises for your art, my words cant do enough justice for just how amazing this is, im just so baffled that just one person can make something to this level! This comment is already so long but i wanted to add that I really enjoy your depiction of dovewing here, ive barely read the books, but in most animations ive seen dovewing is naive, and shes rarely shown as brave, so the fact that you show her care and worry for her sister gives her so much more character that i barely ever see in fan animation! Also your use of the camera shots and angles and motion blurs is so great, im literally going to study this to get better at animating, its so good!

Wow. I didn't expect much coming to this video, since I'm not usually a fan of Warriors AMVs, but this hit me like a train. Art style, expressions, fluid and dynamic animation, check. The music, the atmosphere with the red petals circling, absolute check. Characterization with Ivy being the hotheaded one, and Dove being cautious but ultimately incredibly brave? Double check. I tend to find Dove annoying but she was great in this. And check for storytelling! The nightmare is immediately hostile to Dove but tries to "seduce" Ivy. This is going into my playlists!! And now that I've finished writing this comment I'll watch it a second time
YOOO THIS IS SO COOL!! ALL THE MOVEMENT IS SO FLUID, THE DESIGNS ARE AMAZING, THE MUSIC IS P E R F E C T, AND JUST.. WOW! I really love the detail of how at about 1:02, you can tell Dovepaw is saying Ivypaw's name. Such a small detail, but one that's super cool to notice. The horror element is really enhanced by the fact that it's not all just a pitch black forest, there's a lot of really beautiful color schemes, and the tunnels are so beautifully drawn! And the bloodstains, just PHENOMENAL. I have tried SO HARD to figure out how to draw liquid stains, and I can never get them right. Absolutely stunning! Every single second, no matter how small or detailed, it's absolutely beautiful.

OMG thank you TH-cam recommendations! I love this song and honestly I never thought this could be used for anything other than FNAF! Props to you on making it possible and doing it so WELL! I won't lie, it took until Hawkfrost showed up to fully understand what was going on. Probably cuz I'm really bad at remembering cat descriptions. But I was still blown away by the story telling and animation! Even if its not directly from the books, its amazing ^^ You need a lot more followers. (also, i thought i could handle the blood and gore cuz I've watched a lot of stuff with it, but GEEZ THAT WAS GRIM AS HELL. My favorite thing is that you gave them the same eye color to show that they're siblings, and perhaps that the two of them aren't so different. It might seem like a simple choice, but for me, it adds a whole other layer to this animation by connecting Ivy and Dove in a strong visual way.

The really neat thing about the start of this is when you see Ivypaw being keen and curious about the tunnel, but Dovepaw being more cautious and wary, which suggests that she sensed the bad vibes off the tunnel with her powers, which is a nice touch.

The story direction is so good!! There's a lot of action to follow, especially in the second half's chase scene, but it's very easy to follow the characters, understand what they're doing, see their thought process at work, etc. I especially liked the part where Ivypaw is walking through the tunnel of red lights. It's so enchanting and sinister at the same time! Not to mention impressive how you give the audience a chance or two to breathe and take everything in - even in a song as energetic and fast as this!
You should be really proud!! Full AMVs are rare, so it's always nice to see people take on these kinds of solo projects!! I love how this is A so visually appealing but also symbolic of their arcs. Ivypool is blissfully ignorant of the dark forest having fun and living I'm blissfully of the true danger she is in, while dovewing is in over hear head, she is trying to help her sister out of the dark forest while also trying to stop them all starting right after her apprentice ceremony. She wasn't eased into it rather dropped in and expected to fix it. But even so while dovewing does try to escape it at first focusing on tiger heart or normal squabbles when it comes to her sister she finally faces it and saves her. This really is great.
This is actually so fire??? Everything from the character and background designs to the pacing and animation is lovely! It shows some serious time and care put into all of it!

this is so incredibly unique in the style, the sequences especially when fitting to music and its sheer quality. the lighting and environment shows so much mood. also the part where their neck is slashed on beat is so good.
This is easily the coolest Warriors AMV I’ve ever seen. You can easily follow the story and see Dove and Ivy’s personalities, and the ACTION SCENES are BEAUTIFUL!!! Above professional. I especially love this little part where Hawk look up as Dove is coming at him, so very cool 2:55

I LOVED seeing these two work together as well, even just for a bit. If only in the books both girls would of taken a little more time to understand what the other was feeling, we could of had a bad ass sister crime fighting duo.

They did not put in any animatronics sadly but all of this is mostly fake and something they made up and the white cat is dove paw and the grey and white cat is ivy paw (dove paw’s sister) ivy paw trained in the dark forest (this place and this is where bad cats go when they die) so lol there u go.
Words fail to describe the incredible work that went into this video. The Cinematography, the fluid animation, the consistent character models, the horrors of the evil, The violence, the mad dashing to escape a fate worse than death. This was truly a spectacle to behold.

one of the many aspects in which I appreciate about this amv is how much detail was put into the atmosphere of each scene with progressively harsher, red lighting that almost serves as an indicator of the hellish environment. it's extremely immersive and the creativity and effort put into this amv SHOWS.
the eye-pleasing, almost-cartoon style adds to the horror as well, with the peaceful opening to the amv quickly progressing into horror.
Ok, im going to ramble about everything in this animation because this is literally one of the best thing ive ever seen. Your artstyle is so unique and recognizable! Its so versatile, the way you draw ivypool and dovewing's all soft and round with te expressions and eyes makes them appear like a child cartoon style, but then it does a full 180 with the designs and gorey depiction of the dark forest cats, its genuinely so amazing!! Your animation is literally stunning, you understanding of weight, movement, perspective is literally professional level, the movements of the cats feel incredibly natural and tangible, its amazing to watch! Your colours and lighting create such a great atmosphere, i can tell you took a lot of time to think about how everything would look like, it makes every single part of this animation so satisfying! The pacing of this also flows so well, nothing felt out of place or too fast or slow, the build up and tension of it all was just perfect. God, the fact you dont have more support on your channel is wild to me, ive been a fan for a while and ive watched a ton of your videos, and the ideas you have are so creative and enthralling and the way you execute them is amazing, more people need to see your work! I cannot sing enough praises for your art, my words cant do enough justice for just how amazing this is, im just so baffled that just one person can make something to this level! This comment is already so long but i wanted to add that I really enjoy your depiction of dovewing here, ive barely read the books, but in most animations ive seen dovewing is naive, and shes rarely shown as brave, so the fact that you show her care and worry for her sister gives her so much more character that i barely ever see in fan animation! Also your use of the camera shots and angles and motion blurs is so great, im literally going to study this to get better at animating, its so good!

Wow. I didn't expect much coming to this video, since I'm not usually a fan of Warriors AMVs, but this hit me like a train.
Art style, expressions, fluid and dynamic animation, check.
The music, the atmosphere with the red petals circling, absolute check.
Characterization with Ivy being the hotheaded one, and Dove being cautious but ultimately incredibly brave? Double check. I tend to find Dove annoying but she was great in this.
And check for storytelling! The nightmare is immediately hostile to Dove but tries to "seduce" Ivy.

I really love the detail of how at about 1:02, you can tell Dovepaw is saying Ivypaw's name. Such a small detail, but one that's super cool to notice.
The horror element is really enhanced by the fact that it's not all just a pitch black forest, there's a lot of really beautiful color schemes, and the tunnels are so beautifully drawn! And the bloodstains, just PHENOMENAL. I have tried SO HARD to figure out how to draw liquid stains, and I can never get them right. Absolutely stunning!

I won't lie, it took until Hawkfrost showed up to fully understand what was going on. Probably cuz I'm really bad at remembering cat descriptions. But I was still blown away by the story telling and animation! Even if its not directly from the books, its amazing ^^ You need a lot more followers.
