I haven't fished for years, probably since I was in my late teens. Stumbled across your channel about 4 weeks ago. inspired to get out there and see if i still had it. First session i landed a PB mirror of 19.8lb float fishing in the margins. Couldn't believe it. Watched more of your videos and decided I wanted to invest in a feeder rod and new reel. Ended up catching a couple of good carp the next session. Your videos are inspiring and re-inspiring people to get out and invest in the sport and making it grow. Now I’d love to get on the carp fishing gear but haven’t got the means and money to do that yet, one day hopefully!! You also should have way more subscribers, the standard of videos and the editing is top level stuff. Love it, cheers lads.

Just what I needed now the weather has turned grey. You're lucky to have a each other but you probably already know that. The hammock looks fun but maybe a bit too early in the year for spending nights in it, be great on lazy sunny afternoons and in the garden too............ keep 'em coming.

I started fishing 2 weeks ago and I’ve already caught 12 fish (6 of them being carp), you guys post really helpful stuff and have helped me with my watercraft so thank you 🙏
I'm not gonna reveal where this is, but I used to work on this estate as an underkeeper, some of the fish in this lake are great. In fact the whole area is amazing for us, the other side of the estate bleeds into the Ard. Res as well I'm sure there's some mega carp in there. Love the channel.

Tip for Alex - you can get under blankets for hammocks which hang underneath the hammock for insulation- keeps you much warmer

I haven't fished much since the 1990s. Used to be a big fish angler from the 1970s to late 1980s and fished with a lot of the names from the time. As regards hammock camping, something I've got some experience of, you need a hammock under-quilt, or at least a camping mat unless it's quite warm, even in the summer. DD Hammocks do a reasonably priced under-quilt.

Love family captures, my son and I have both caught 2 fish from a lake we fish regularly. To be honest I’m surprised that there aren’t more carp that we’ve both caught!

I want you guys to try the drum in the states we get over here sometime. Im from Michigan and when you guys do your carp fishing in muskegon and such you could fish for drum as well at any of the channels/piers along the big lake. They're incredibly fun to catch and get pretty decent sized. They just started coming in so pretty soon we'll start hammering them. I can send you pictures of some of the giants we got last year.

Good to see you back making videos we all want to see, informative and a good watch. Just a quicky on the bat you saw, they are normally injured, diseased or the temperature where they are roosting is too warm, I would say it was the heat, as it was flying ok...great haircuts too, try doing it in front of a mirror next time 😂 I’m kidding 😂 looking forward to more videos soon!!!
In front of my house there is a small river/creek with an average depth of about 35 cm and an average clarity of 10 cm! When I just started fishing there I saw like five carp swimming around in 20 centimeters of water. I didn’t know they were carp and kept throwing bass lures at them.😂 This year I finally found out how to catch them; a simple worm on a carolina rig! My biggest so far is about 7 kg!

Tench are cracking. In fact, they're sort of my main target. Of course, I'll take a big carp any day, but tench are just so elusive and sort of mysterious. I think that's what fascinates me. I don't mind bream either though :P Fish is fish. As long as I'm catching, I'm happy. I wouldn't be able to stand only having 1 or 2 bites a night, even if you can be pretty sure it's carp. That's why I prefer fishing the method feeder :)

Been fishing with a hammock for a long time, use a foam mattress or even inflatable mattress for warmth under you. Also a Ridge line will help your lay

Great to see you out and catching seeing you guys so young reminds me of when I fished with my friends as a group of early teens , getting up at silly hours walking miles to our lake , stoping half way to start eating our packed lunch and single bottle of orange cordial , running out of food and drink during the day , float fishing with luncheon meat and corn catching whatever turned up while listening to the radio 1 roadshow . Great times. . What’s the lake called and where plus is it day ticket or club etc
