Yes, there were station wagons and ambulances made from W114 and W115, but Mercedes-Benz didn't make them themselves. I would really like to have one, but don't.
Hi John. I get them from various places, such as Ebay and other contacts. MB also still have quite a lot of parts for older cars. You can order at your local dealer. //Peter
@@Pexyz thanks for the update.I live in South Africa and have a 1969 280 SE manual I need body repair panels ,any links would be much appreciated. One owner car ,my father bought it new in 69 I was 10. P.S. the same colour, only with leather (blue) upholstery
Maybe in the future!
What a beautiful find! I have the same car but quite a derelict compared to yours. I got mine in CA for $2900. Still working on restoration. Your car is a great find. May I know how much did you get it for?
Thank you very much! Hope to see your car here on YT too! I've had this car for a couple of years already, but I guess I payed about the same as you did.
I was curious. I have always liked the euro headlights on the 108. I have a 68 with the double US style. Cool car you have there. Keep the videos coming .Thanks John.,
That might be true, depending on how wide your horizon is. Of course fixing old cars and creating videos can't cure you if you're seriously ill. Nor watching them can. I hope we all know that. But I feel good doing this and I hope that others can benefit from watching it too. I suppose it can help to rest your mind for a while and get your thoughts away from reality. Maybe that way it can help someone. At least, I know I feel good when watching similar videos. But what do you mean Chris? Are you okay?
Wow, what an absolute beauty. The W108 is a masterpiece of timeless elegance and strength. Impatient to see the follow up!!
Thanx for your nice comment sobelou! I agree, the W108 is one of the most beautiful MB-models ever made.

Thanks Danny, I agree the W108-series is great!
Nice to see an update, I was patiently waiting a lond time to see another video of you, especially on the W108!
Thank you very much! I'll keep posting as I go along with the projects.
@@Pexyz Glad to hear, I'm already excited for the next one!
I would be interested in the spare lights if you are willing to sell. Still putting my car together.
Okay, see if you can send me a note!
Do you have a 250 station wagon, I kinda saw one in the garage, I remember they had made like an ambulance based on the station wagon.

Hi Pexys replying to you regarding the lights.
Hello! You can contact me on peterhbe(at)gmail.com
Pexyz I sent you an email I hope you got it.
I did! Let's keep in touch.
Lovely car. Never seen cloth seats; are they stock, or was that aftermarket?
Hello and thanks for asking. Yes the seats are the original ones. These were very common in Europe at the time.
Are you going to sell those spare headlights?
Hello John! I don't really know yet. Would you be interested in them?
I was curious. I have always liked the euro headlights on the 108. I have a 68 with the double US style. Cool car you have there. Keep the videos coming .Thanks John.,
Thanks John! I think the US lights look good too.
