Love the idea to add more than 16 sections. I got to think about using shift register instead of IO ports on multiple arduinos. Just add more shift register to expand with more sections

Green Star killer. How dare you? LOL I love this setup. Makes me want to revise a 7000 Deere planter with hydraulic drive and row clutches for shit and giggles. Cheers up yonder Canucks.

For me A6 and A7 pins doesn't seem to work...
D2 pin seems to be blinking at the same rate as the yellow LED on the ethernet card...
and D10-13 is actually needed for ENC28J60 to work
So I'm not really able to control all 16 relays just 13+1...

Its a fun way to learn about ECAD. Trying to find ways to simplify installation. Soldering kit is fun, the first couple times.

I loved the idea. I'm studying as fast as I can. I have a small property and I want to plant corn with this technology. My tractor is not modern and I want to implement precision farming concepts. I'm talking about the state of Goiás in Brazil.

Its amazing the Internet and AgOpenGPS can give us all a chance to learn and use RTK and Section control, for a realistic amount of money. Its paid for itself mowing my lawn, it should do well in corn!. Had to look up your state in brazil, very beautiful area.

Its not my project, It is open source software started by Brian Tischler of Canada. But now has a dedicated user base who keep adding and improving it.
Check it out! Its free to download and is windows based. The hardware you build yourself!

Yeah I am new to video editing, using new software called OBS for screen capture. Its levels do not match the iPhone. Finally figured out how to fix this going forward. “Experience the thing you get only after you need it”

My favorite thing about GPS is that it’s based on the flat earth azimuthal equidistant Cartesian coordinate system. The reason it is is because we do not actually measure any curvature in reality.

    • @potatofarmer
      @potatofarmer  ปีที่แล้ว

I think the GPS reality changed when i was born.
      earth-info.nga.mil/index.php?dir=wgs84&action=wgs84
WGS 84 is a geoid model, with all measurements in 3D from the centre of the earth. So you can actually measure a 3D spline on the earth, and all of its curvature. Since the major axis are fixed you can compare the tectonic drift of points over time depending on the epochs you are using when you take the measurements.
The AOG guidance system may assume flat over a small localized area, but then we have a gyroscope to compensate for any changes in topography.
But the data is still 3D and has been a imperfect sphere for some time.
This is why you need special software to transform your data to the local datum for land survey. Because a lot of localizations are based on very old flat data.

@@potatofarmer your software would not have to apply the haversine formula to the data the create the geoid model based on latitude and longitude…. I’ll bet you don’t even know how latitude and long was originally derived and why you assume a radius value…
Just tell me.. how do I verify your assumed radius value in reality???

@@potatofarmer your anger comes from pain, your pain comes from cognitive dissonance, it’s not going away. If you cannot tell me how to verify we live on a ball today. What makes you think you will be able to do it at any time?
