What is the GPS auto steer system that you have installed?
AgOpenGPS its DIY
Hey, looking awesome. Do you have an update for when STL, diagram or pictures will be available?
How many db drop in sound is that? How you compared it to something commercially available like a SOLBERG filter silencer?
Solberg makes a lot of silencers, even the tin can ones like this compressor previously had. Its 65db @3 meters, filter is dual element.
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I am wondering about IMU sensor. As far as I see, you are using Gyro sensor and have connected it to steering nano directly. How did you do it? I am using 2 nanos to control steering and IMU seperately. Can I combine them in steering nano ?
Hello this video is really old, this is a old V2 board, I currently only use this board as an output. Most people are building the all in one now.
@@potatofarmer Thanks. I am also using V2.5 old board currently. I wondered if it is possible or not to modify mine without switching to new type V4.5 board. I just want to cancel IMU nano and connect it to steering nano directly. What do you think? Is it possible for stable running?
Thanks a ton! My discharge hose frose up today because my breaker popped on the pump. I did a similar thing but used a cooler then threaded a air line fitted into the drain of the cooler and ran a 1/4 synflex line, fill the cooler with hot water and used on the discharge hose. Wow this works sooooo good Saved me a bunch of money not calling a steam truck
@@maxxus5572 Good to hear this method worked well for you. Using the cooler was a good move, it would keep the water hotter. This year I put in a 20’ submersible electric heat trace. Tired of the poop roulette.
Do you have a planter? or still doing that by hand?
@@HellTriX I use a subsoiler to make a ditch, then place the potatoes in them by hand, then use a home made hiller to close them up with an 18” hill. The hiller is made to fit the planter box inside, just have not got to it.
@@potatofarmer nice ty
It's not on RTK but on Egnos/WAAS . which it can do anyhow?
I think you need to watch it again slower. You have missed whats happening completely.
English are not the best of farmers; so let me enlighten them. When you hang some kind of container behind the machine, you catch the potatoes, and you save a lot of man hours
I'm enjoying the southern Quebec weather right now. Cold enough that the bugs are gone, but warm enough that the water hasnt gone stiff yet
You lucky guys, spent some time in northern Michigan fall was a beautiful time. Must be similar. East Central Alberta Nov1 lololololololol 🥶🤧
any update on potatoes this year?
22l at 110km/h 😮 wtf
Chevy 6.6L gasoline engine @2200ft asl, it burns fuel “efficently”. Not even towing. My 2010 deleted 6.7l cummins diesel gets 11L/100km under the same conditions and weighs 4000lbs more.
Where do you buy this machine
Wondering why this video has been posted since 2021, and there are no comments. Odd.
I have no idea why I can’t get my gps working on the 4.1, it works on every other board I have just fine…
Idk what he's saying 😂
Hello, good afternoon. I would like to get in touch with you. Do you have any contact information you could give me? Thank you.
😂😂😂
No Aog but so motivated !
Not much combining left, but of course big rain. Almost complete with one of the two farms I help. Motivated lol, more Delirious lol
How come you have to steer?😂😂😂
The combines are the lowest priority to get setup. Did swathers this year
@@potatofarmer do like your Ace project, keep on the good work.
Nice job , have you released this as a single or is it only available on a full album ? Haha
@@landlifem5872 Post Malone phoned and told me to stop. But I could barely hear him over the sound of the straw chopper.🤣😂🤣
Try bright yellow ;)
Done a pile of "Internet Science Paper" reading, Yellow will attract wasps and bees. Apparently Blue is the best for attracting flies. It would be tough to be a New Holland at a manure pile. I think TPU is outperforming PETG because it more readily absorbs moisture, and subsequently absorbs the bait stench and fly pheromone sent and holds it. Also playing with different internal cone colour to prevent escapees, but have not seen any escape yet.
I should probably print a bunch of these for around the dairy here.
Ahhh your the source of all these lol! Still have a few tricks left to test. Going to try yet another colour and also switch up lid/cone colour.
Give the cat some attention 😂
@@Farmer1277 Ha! A stray cat just showed up out of nowhere, wife fed it, and now just follows me meowing non stop.
I bought a Woodland Mills wood chipper and was surprised to find it was made in China and it has alignment/fit issues too. Poor quality control for the amount they charge.
The hard part is if it was 100% ideal it would cost so much no one could afford it. It sucks but china is here to stay.
What petg are you running? I keep trying to use overture in my k1 max and it's just not working out. I had run Hatchbox in my old s1 plus and that ran better.
I use the most generic PETG available. I get it from either 3D printing canada, of hobby wholesale in edmonton. Before printing leave it in the dryer for 8hrs, then leave the dryer on while printing. The K1 max is stock other than a steel nozzle and a textured plate.
@potatofarmer I have the 2nd gen k1 max that comes with the unicorn nozzle and different or updated bed. I rooted mine on day one. I jammed it with Overture PETG on the first try and it made me so mad lol.
@@Farmer1277 mine has the updated hotend just before the unicorn nozzle. Its all stock and has been pumping out PTEG prints pretty regular. Retired the sermoon d1 to TPU only. Both on steel nozzles, because brass just wears too fast making parts.
@potatofarmer interesting. The unicorn nozzle is a hardened steel nozzle. I plugged the nozzle twice when I first got it and jammed the extruder with PETG but since I rooted it and changed the extruder current I haven't had issues since. I push petg and abs/asa into the 300mm/s area
So what is this going on to ?
A cereal implements swather, just like a massey 220 but green.
Will that dealer in Saskatchewan deliver to Stettler Alberta?
@@wizardgaming669 Not sure, you could contact them.
what working area must the printer have?
But you still have to pick them up by hand
@@robertmintz63 Dig 300 hills every year by hand, picking up is the easy part!
Thanks for the shootout at the end :) One can also check the correctness by going the opposite direction. It should give you similar values (i.e around -5 degrees here)
@@AgOpenGPSMagyarorszag You have an impressive number of installs and problems solved! Worth a shout out :)
Nice video. Will check if my tractors is correct this way. Dont know the angle gauge you are using, but i have a similar from Klein Tools (935DAG) ordered from digikey. Nice tool for other use as well
Sure beats the Trimble turn on your own tracks method. These little levels are handy for so many things!
@@potatofarmer The trimble had no autosteer, sold it and the money finaced a full AOG kit with hydraulic valves :) Both tractors in that video runs AOG today
Very good 👍
UDP is great but is it verified on another layer that it's reached the destination? I'm tracking this project from the beggings and it's the most awesome project, next to ROS😊!
Think of UDP as a radio station, its just dumping the data out to anyone who wants to hear it. There is new data every 100ms, so no need to verify just keep streaming the new data out. If it was not received it was probably junk to start with.
@@potatofarmer i didn't realized that even MQTT can go over UDP, but that would be a little overhead
So this should also work with a router added to the AIO pcb I would think?
Where did you buy your M2/antenna? Im also located in Canada and would like to create a similar home base station
Directly from emlids website for the M2, the antenna was off ali express.
How many rpm does a 400 engine have?
Hello sir How much did it cost you to make agopengps?
Im developing custom PoE boards, and enclosures. But the tablet is still the most expensive part.
@@potatofarmer Please tell me rough number of cost of all that.❤️
Where is that compressor silencer downloadable from?
Nowhere at the moment, Drew it in Autocad, and the air filter adapter. The filter housing is a yanmar tractor filter from aliexpress.
Are you willing to upload the files?
Great idea with the cuts.
Hi!!! It's cool job 😎😎😎. Where are you located?
Alberta, Canada
Wonderful mate
Very nice, wil you be as generous as always, and share the file for printer?
Once im happy with it and the electronics
Nice !!
Coming from you that means alot! Merci Beaucoup!
@@potatofarmer 🤩
Sweet idea. You should add a metal (ferrous) plate between the magnets and the gps antenna to help with interference. A thin tpu layer under the magnets will help stop slipping (if thats even an issue for you).
Good thoughts, but what interference? Lol The survey antenna comes with a tin plate underneath fused to its pcb, under that is the Gps electronics card, the POE further isolates and filters the power, very clean power on the oscilloscope. I moved the neo magnets outside and they bite harder, the first design has them in TPU. Only thing that has to go the distance is the data!
Thanks for sharing!
I assume new one has an integrated survey like antenna instead of helical. I'm curious how will the tree performance look
The new one is survey, and also takes advantage of a new board for the F9P Micro. In a mostly open area performance was great solid hdop of 0.6-0.74.
You'd have get a verry good deal on your JD oil (which comes with JD tax) to be cheaper than the manufacturer it originally comes from, rarely its an brand specific potion. You can check the manufacturer by checking the safety label 👌🏻
The JD oil during the oil sale is the same price per litre as mobil 1 0w40 on sale at Walmart. Stellantis currently wants $24.00 CDN for a Mexican oil filter pre tax. The JD US made filters are $11.50 CDN after tax…. But had to buy a case of 12 for that price. OEM oils are of course outsourced to an existing refinery, but the OEM dictates the additives package added to the base oil. 👌🏻
cool, stil using Emlid?
Yes Emlid M2 base station has been running nonstop in an uninsulated shed for 2+ years!
The most expensive spuds in history.
Not sure what potatoes are worth its been so long since I’ve bought 😂
where can i get one of these?
Interesting
