I was just talking with my friend the other day about how I didn't think this encounter was solo-able because of the time limit, then this happens lmao. Amazing as always!

Esoterickk always amazes me. My fireteam and I literally hate this part of raid to the core and we’re thinking to ourselves there is no possible way one could solo this considering there’s three artifacts that are needed as the encounter goes on so multiple players are needed. Yet, ESO out here proving us wrong.

P.S thiers a hit box regrestration bug with warlock solar grenade that if thrown as the switch for the rooms on caretaker is closing it ends up keeping the doors refreshing open as if you were shooting the switchs which let's you easily solo first floor, and somewhat easy to somewhat challenging depending on spawns of second floor, and it's doable on third floor, just has the highest likely hood of the doors time limit expiring after the grenade runs out, causing the that refresh to prok the doors open until that time limit runs out

But I didn't realize I would learn so much from this solo. Anyways I really wish bungie would intentionally add more stuff like this to more raid encounters. I know raids are meant to be done in a group and that is the whole goal of them but leaving a way for them to be done solo or with only 2 people I think adds more life to the raid. Especially if that solo route is really difficult. I don't plan on doing these solo or anything but I love watching them be done. Plus some people are good at the game but really shy or have social anxiety so joining a group is hard. Or they have bad internet that is just barely good enough to play PvE solo.

@@lilsisgay The emblems are still possible, but dont know about the stun lock glitch on caretaker, ran the raid today and did emblems solo using the bugged hit marker registration on warlock solar grenades, don't know how to stun lock caretaker waly doing emblems, but I'm sure that the bungie community will find out a way to either speed glitch the emblems, or a way to lock/delay caretaker in place long enough for players to do solo emblems to initiate damage. In the end I wouldn't go as far as saying it's not possible

All I know, is that doing emblems solo is possible for a fact, dint know for certain if stunning or damage was doable solo, I'm sure that at some point someone will figure out a way to do chunks of damge to boss. Also I wonder if the hunter deflection damge glitch would work. If you deflect the beetle drills waly shooting parasite, since that usually hits for an average of 3 million to 4 million

@@BiggaMyMan Don't know how to respond to your comment, so I'll try my best. The large majority of d1 content is far superior or even with most the d2 content, however d2 gun play I think beats d1. D1 cosmetics are far superior, and we should get some of the fan favorite shades and or armors back as either activity drops, event ornaments, or world/activity loot pools. His point above was referring to how he would some of the unique d1 stuff added the current version of d2 that has a more active/alive player base. (Also I would add that I think they should bring back exotic class items with thier OG perks of allowing you to equip them with other exotic armor pieces, technically allowing you to have two exotic armor pieces on at a time, and let them keep thier passive ammo finder buff inorder to help free up armor mod slots for different mods)

Dick move not to tell your community tips to do this easier. When you start the encounter. Before you drop the relic keep it in your hands. Enemies will gather in front of the door this way you can save a few seconds in the time critical part of this encounter
Really, that encounter is very easy especially if you use the method where you dunk the vog and taken relic, and drop the darkness relic on the floor or hand it to someone else, and just wait for your relic teams timers to reset, that way you always have at least 2 people on each side, or one person on each side if your 4 to 3 manning it, now that's thiers and infinite timer to throw into the mix, that makes this even easier, but damn I thought my friends and I were good 3 manning this encounter, good 5hit in running this solo and showing how superb you are

1st and second encountrt is also soloable but the second encounter hasn't beaten yet but there was a proof of concept
