  • Osiris loves his new camo bug cup from Full Throttle Feeders! The cup is held up by STRONG magnets and keeps all feeders contained. No more pesky hideaways!

I made a bioactive vivarium and absolutely love the hideaways. I love watching my friend hunting.

I made one like this but out of a water bottle and eventual they would jump from the top. If you just cut the middle of a water bottle out then they can't jump out cause they always hit the top of the bottle

Hey, Tristan. It's surprising how simple something like this can be to make. I would say one of the biggest differences, aside from the crickets jumping out, is the aesthetic of it. Plus, buying one of the feeder cups in the video helps out the guy who invented them many, many years ago. I remember when there wasn't anything like this on the market until Nick started making these!

They never just jump off? I'm free ranging, and I'd like not to find crickets or dubias anywhere 😅

Sometimes they do jump out. For the most part, I would say 90% of them stay in the cup. Also, I don't feed in excess, so the crickets are usually gone in a few minutes. Keeping crickets contained is definitely a struggle with being a reptile owner. This method is still superior to letting crickets loose in the house, imo.
