A journey from Julius Nyerere International Airport To Kigamboni should cost you between 22000 to 25000 Tanzanian Shillings as its your first time you may experience taxi drivers trying to hike up the price so bargain well to get a good price.
@@InspireForTravel Thank you for your prompt response. My hotel told me they can pick me up for a fair price of 65,000 TZS! I’m glad I asked you! Your channel has been a big part of my decision making to visit Tanzania. I’ve been to Kenya and recall many Kenyans speak of the politeness and proper way with which Tanzanians speak and Cary themselves.
I literally just came home from Dar es Salaam 4 days ago. A fair price would be exactly as advised…I paid 22.000TSH to get to the airport. Not only will the taxi driver hike up the price they’ll also try to charge you in US dollars. Download (if you haven’t already) UBER & BOLT apps this gives very fair prices and lets you know what you should be paying.
@@IgnoranceIsNotCute yes I have Uber and downloaded BOLT. Are either apps allowed to pick-up passengers from the airport. Also, what do you recommend for cellphone service? I've been told Halotel and Vodafone. Just wanted to know what was ur experience with cellphone service
@@brasilsoccer0 hey, yep they can go to the airport I used Bolt to go to the airport. When I was there I used Vodacom (same company as Vodafone just a different name) & the cell service was great. From mainland to Zanzibar I had great coverage, I was also able to use it as a hotspot if the internet where I was staying was slow. If you know anyone there ask them to take you to regular store to get a SIM you'll get more data for less money. I was there for 3wks. I got 50gb with calls and texts for around $20 which is a great price.

How do I find a dalali? When going to view a place but not necessarily rent yet but just to view, do you pay once you view the place or before?
