Cannot push safety enough. We ride 1 to 1500ks every year since we bought our Quads. Safety was the most important thing I taught my young riders. Now they suit up as a ritual before a ride. Great Video.

Moreno wool, or wool in general is typical a good choice. There is a reason it’s been used by the military. When wet, it retains about 75-85% of it’s warmth. 90% of the time, this is my choice as a base layer. Polypropylene is my second choice, but most often is part of my mid layer with some type of gortex as my outer layer.

I have a superpower. I can always put a helmet on with gloves. It’s as easy as no gloves.

Don’t cheap out on things that can save your life. Buy a nice helmet, buy some good goggles.
