I am not a politician. I am not even a blogger, but even I understand that what is happening is absolute absurdity. A person is not able to change the laws of nature - the change of seasons, the high and low tides, the change of day and night - this is beyond the power of a person. But the laws of the country are written by PEOPLE and therefore can be changed by PEOPLE if these laws have led to absurd phenomena. The law that the president cannot be tried in court has not stood the test of time. Why then is it necessary to follow this law with incomprehensible persistence? Such a law CAN BE CHANGED and such a law MUST BE CHANGED.
It isn't a law that the sitting President (the President who has been sworn into office for their term of service) can't be tried.
It is only a Justice Department opinion which has never been approved upon by Congress.
As an American I don't think Trump should've been certified to be President today. I just don't understand how this happened, too many lies.
