My tastes are suddenly changing this year. Less is more. I just spent alot of time looking at Xmas videos. As you said, so many decorate every inch of their space & tree. Way over the top. So glad to see this. I fell off the minimalist wagon the past few months and went pretty far with the Christmas decorations again this year. Mine are nothing like the ones that fill every nook and cranny but I did do more than I should have. As always, I decorate mostly for Thanksgiving Day and by now, I’m already wanting to pack it all back up. I loved your ideas and will aim next year to choose only a few favorites to focus on. In my defense, I donated a huge portion of our Christmas decorations last year. I did buy a few new items this year but I will now do as you suggested and rotate them. This Christmas has been the best I’ve had in many years and it is solely because we have gotten back to church!!!! ⛪️ ❤🙌🏼. The decorations pale in comparison to worshipping our Savior amongst other believers again!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!! 🙏🎄❤️

I have the exact same nativity set and I believe it is still in production. I have also simplified this year and I am loving it. Isn't it wonderful to be able to enjoy pieces from our childhood and then to be able to share those pieces with our own children. Your home looks wonderful - enjoy!
Oh yay! I will need to look into that. I know that there are quite a few pieces I don’t own. The full set, if I remember right, is quite expensive! That’s why I had planned to just buy a couple pieces at a time ❤️
My husband gave me the nativity set for Christmas many years ago and we just completed the set last year. If I could only choose one thing to display it would always be this - I truly treasure it!

I agree with you 💯 percent. There's this woman on her that loves Vintage which is great, but she said that she couldn't wait to go out to get more stuff. I wanted to say to her, sweetie you have enough all ready, but felt like my ideas aren't her ideas. Another person had a video of a bedroom for her son in their new house and she bought new furniture that was made of MDF. Oh well, not everyone thinks like I do. 😊

It is clean and simple. It also checks all of the boxes for being warm, cozy, nostalgic and natural all honoring the true meaning of Christmas. Faith, family, friends (food 😏) at home. Have a lovely holiday. I live in a townhouse, so there are only so many horizontal spaces to put things 😬. I appreciate the reminder to prioritize the favorites and nostalgic and pare away most of the rest. I actually scotch tape cards on the back of my metal main door. When people are in the house visiting and the door is closed they can see the array of cards from our dining room. Plus when I’m home and people aren’t visiting I still get to enjoy the cheeriness passing through my rooms on the main level

I’m guilty. I have excess of seasonal decor especially Christmas. Mainly greeneries and trees 😅 I have purged a bit but could definitely do with less
