30:00 Jayden Daniels 2023 season produced a MTF/att number 2x higher than Lamar’s peak season as a rusher in college. Jayden Daniels is incredibly elusive. You watched a lowlight video of him getting hit, of course the hits were big. **It’s a lowlight video.** Don’t mistake a minority of plays where he didn’t let the play die for a poor ability to make defenders miss. Also, rewatch that big hits video-how many of those plays are legal in the NFL? These are just the hits I remember off the top of my head: Dallas Turner sack that concussed him - Illegal (roughing the passer + targeting) Mississippi State DB spearing him with his head was ejected for targeting (leading with the head) - Illegal (same) Missouri late hit on (holding negated) TD run - illegal (late hit) Ole Miss forced fumble - illegal (defenseless player) 2022 sprained ankle tackle vs Texas A&M - illegal (swivel hip drop tackle)
& his OC is Cliff "I don't understand the term Out Of Structure" Kingsbury. See the problem? Kyler Murray wasn't being forced to study the playbook because he rolled out of bed where he laid playing COD all week & came to games unprepared. What kind of insanity is this that people believe he can play at that ability _without already _*_knowing_* the playbook? Wouldn't that make him élite? He was told to study it because CK would watch Murray make amazing plays & get confused. He couldn't win with Caleb or Mahomes in college either. Yes, play-calling can totally render any amount of talent inert. Getsy was allowed more control over the Bears offense _twice!_ The first time he & Fields made them The #1 in the entire NFL for 3 straight weeks _BEFORE_ they acquired D.J. Moore. Then Eberflus meddled again like the true micro-manager he is & everyone thinks that Fields is at best a high-end back-up. The Eagles went from being True Contender to a laughing stock due 100% to just the play-calling. Ya gotta take these things into consideration.
Hey Ron, thanks for the breakdowns your the best that I've found for legit stats. What do you think about targeting Ladd over Thomas Jr? I'm in a rebuild and would rather have the safety over the boom or bust?
Hey Ron, for draft capital, what are the average qb's ppg for years 1-3 based on where they are selected? For RB's I think you had something like if they were a round 1 selection, those runningbacks average 13.2 ppg for years 1-3. Do you have that data for QB's? Would love another year of the RS model for each position. Those are my favorite videos of yours.
You said JJ doesn’t throw it out of the barn like Anthony Richardson. It’s funny you compared those two because at the combine JJ threw 61 MPH and Richardson threw 60 MPH
Love this! I have the 1.01, 1.03, 1.04, 1.06, 1.07 I really wanna walk away with Bowers as I’m in a SF 1.5 TEP. I think the guy at 1.05 takes him. What’s my draft strategy ?
Play-calling is overlooked. But in this case, it doesn't answer the question fully. Cliff Kingsbury will be Daniels' OC & he couldn't win with Mahomes _OR_ Williams in College. In Chicago, Matt Eberflus allowed Getsy to control the offense twice with less meddling from himself & each time the Bears got better by 2 or more tiers. For instance, th-cam.com/video/5JO1PsupF_U/w-d-xo.html. Can anyone see a single thing Caleb is better at than Fields? If one watches a Fields '21 highlight reel it's evident he got *better* in the NFL! His team failed him a lot, but he made throws one normally has to go back & watch Dan Marino to see. Did anyone think _Marino_ was a back-up? Eberflus neutered Fields' talent. Caleb has exhibited arguably slightly _less_ talent in some areas than Fields (he has a tendency to under-throw long passes). In my experience micro-managers _can't_ stop themselves from meddling. They want *Their Plays* to mean more than everyone else's. But Kingsbury doesn't even have to meddle to ruin Daniels, he *is* the OC! It ain't the sexy answer, but I think that in the short run, the better receiving corps will carry Williams & only if/when Eberflus starts getting upset with him making plays outside of the structures Eberflus imposes will he start sabotaging Williams the way he did Fields.
kinda in the same boat. im desolate at TE and want bowersat the 1.3, cuz guy at the 1.4 and 1.5 will take him if idont. but you should try to trade down
I’m debating something similar have 1.01 1.04 1.05 on a team that won the chip. I know Daniel’s will be there at 4 so debating odunze or bowers. It’s a 10 team and I have elite receivers already
Caleb Williams portion gonna be the most skipped part of any TH-cam video ever lol, don’t need any more on him, he’s locked in 1.01 dynasty stud (it’s rude to skip chapters when he’s nice enough to include them tho, don’t do it folks)
You got shit rankings. Bo nix had better stats then all of these QBs. You're tripping. Your only picking popularity not stats 😂 way better then willuams as well
When Uncle Ron starts rubbing his hands together you know we’re in for a banger

Huge vid Ron. From the BASEMENT

I Dont know who u have on ur team but assuming u r rebuilding Caleb , Daniels , M. Nabors and Odunze
I would talk to him and see what he’d give up to swap 1.5 and 1.6
Amazing video
Appreciate the work you do for us🙏
Ron going deeeeep on the QBs 💯
How crazy would I be for taking Jayden Daniels over Caleb? I really feel like Daniels can be the qb1 in this class and he reminds me a lot of Lamar
Crazy af

TE premium?
Would I be crazy to want to take Brock Bowers at the 1.4 over Nabers and Odunze??
kinda in the same boat. im desolate at TE and want bowersat the 1.3, cuz guy at the 1.4 and 1.5 will take him if idont. but you should try to trade down
You would just be dumb
Unless you are in a tight end premium that would be a bad idea. Laporta is best case scenario and he’s already valued less than nabers.
At that point yes try and trade back if you know your taking Bowers anyways get some extra on top.

Bo nix is better
