Tom i have a Qad ultrarest drop away you can have for your Mathews. Really you can have it .its like new i use hamskea epsilon rest made for mathews on my V3X 29. And on my Bowtech REVOLT i have the hamskea primer.
Always good to play around with different setups. Got my Oneida Phoenix medium set up with #18 mods giving me 29” draw and around 65% let off. With the deeper draw I find I need to cant the bow a bit to keep my eye over the arrow (barebow shooter). New to Oneida’s so thanks for all your videos I found them very helpful.
Thanks , I used to be so deadly with the nocam barebow , couldn’t pass up getting another Wish they would remake it with a little bigger brace height and more of a straight riser. Kinda old school look
Been watching a couple years here, fellow Martin super quiver and Mathews owner here, thanks for inspiring me to get back into bare bow, been playing with a release aid and no sights and really like the results, thanks for all the tips and cool shots.
Thanks appreciate it, instinctive with a release is like guaranteed good arrow flight and is a great way of shooting bare bow, sometimes I still whip out a release and shot bare bow
I’ve saved my Green Nugebow from 2003 with a Timberdoodle 2 set up in the 3rd Berger button hole closest to the shelf with a Martin superquiver. I still love shooting it bare bow! My other favorite bow was my Oneida black eagle but sold it years back. After watching your channel would like a medium Phoenix set up with no draw stops and #18 module if I’m remembering right for barebow 3 fingers under!!!
Ya buddy , I had a nugebow!! Shot lots of critters with it and now someone in Texas has it I believe, call up oneida or get on there website and get ya one ordered
Welcome back to Mathews, brother!! I had the no cam for a while good bow. I ended up selling it ( I now wish I wouldn't have), and I got the Mathews conquest 4 super soft cam and boy it is the best bow I have ever had. I also shoot fingers and no sights.
Awesome thanks I and hunted with the nocam barebow for like 4 years when they first came out, then sold both I had now I just wanted to get another while I could . Great bow , and it’s also hard to get anything more stable and accurate than the oneida Phoenix
You’ve probably already heard about them, but figured I’d let you know because you’re always trying new stuff. I’ve been using the flipper rest on my Oneida and it’s been perfect but have always wanted to try and off the shelf rest and I found one at Boondock outdoors. It was like 30 bucks. I just put it on seems to be shooting perfectly. I shoot split and I’m having no issues so far. I’m gonna get it out tomorrow and check it out at some distance but I’m happy with it at the moment.
I have never used one, but I have shot off the shelf on longbows and recurves a bunch so it’s probably exactly the same, I use the whisker biscuit that I cut down along time ago and made a video about it and now it’s popular, it’s simulates coming off the shelf and you can shoot vanes.
Good video to learn. One question please. The arrow, once placed on the rest, remains in the geometric center of the bow, that is, exactly in the middle of what it measures from axis to axis? Thank you.
92 areo -force mint. 3 under. telephone pole aluminum 2315s camo 125 grain.. gstring yokes and cables gstring aluminum yoke splitter. honeycreek aluminum clevis with drawstop . bowfishing extreme thin blue fingersavers. don't shoot much past 20. bow anchor heavy @ I like it. whisker cutoff , limb driver drop away or nap flipper (all good). Quiet and on good day very accurate in my circa 1953 hands. . Have a phoenix don't like it as well as finger shooter. set up for release. consistently accurate.Good luck with the new aquisition and have fun.
I've always wanted a no cam but I have a 31in draw. I have heard mathews run a bit long on the draw have you found that to be true? Im shooting my pheonix long with number 18 models and it feels pretty good.
I'm glad I'm not the only one with experimental problems lol. I shot a no cam instinctive and enjoyed mainly just shooting the Oneida now but I'm really thinking bout trying a Mathews lift 33 with that 55lb draw mod

Thanks but you don’t have to give me anything, I heard those hamskeas are almost bullet proof
@@TRIBEDRAKE the hamskea rest are awesome. But if you want the Qad just let me know brother
Nice looking bow. I’m still rocking a Hoyt rampage from 2012.
The bow will last you. Just keep up on the strings.

Thanks !! Good luck with your Phoenix , they are fun bows
Nice setup. I sold you my black Oneida Phoenix about 4 years ago.
Awesome back wt Mathews the no cam is a great bow. And way to tag out brother

Man I been looking all over for another Martin Super Quiver for few years now

@@TRIBEDRAKE Yeah if I end up getting another bow down the road it'll be a phoenix.

I picked up a no cam htr in 50lbs for 350. Might have to give this a try

no , I tune my bows to the arrows I have
Hell yeah can’t go wrong with a no cam, I miss mine and might need to get me another now.
It’s a good one, should of never sold the couple I had a few years ago

Mathews mods run a half inch long I am a 29 inch draw and my mods are 28.5 inches and it fits great on my V3X 29.
Do those NoCams come in 31" draw?
I believe just a 30” draw but an oneida Phoenix long would suit you great
I'm glad I'm not the only one with experimental problems lol. I shot a no cam instinctive and enjoyed mainly just shooting the Oneida now but I'm really thinking bout trying a Mathews lift 33 with that 55lb draw mod
Gotta mess around and see what works for what, be no fun if you just dialed one in and let that’s it
Get better at shooting, need less forward pressure, less front arm bend, more accuracy. Progression personified hoss 🔥👈
🏹🎯👍
I just noticed you cut the biscuit in half! I cut the left side just past half and right side about a half inch
Are you still shooting your Bear Adapt?
Sold it, good bow but I shoot the oneida and had to get a Mathews nocam again cause I was really deadly with that bow.
💯💯💯🏹👌
I’ll make sure to not waste my time watching the Mathew’s crap. Nothing better than Oneida
So you back on Mathews?
Hunting with my old no cam
Your bow poor. Lol
Which one
@@TRIBEDRAKE lol, exactly. You have a lot
