The Isle is intended to be a gritty, open-world survival horror game. Explore vast landscapes of dense forest and open plains, traverse treacherous mountains and wade through dark swamps where horrors lurk. Hidden within are ruins that hold insight as to what came before. Through it all, keep in mind there is only one goal: survive.

Oh yeah, I've watched things like that happen a few times- those kind of rex players get trashed on so hard tho by the rest of the server

This is why anarchy or basic rule sets are just better. There is always some squeeker who wants to become the server lawyer and gets salty and bitches about their own interpretation of the rules and how things should be played.

That encounter with the rexes was incredible. The young one's broadcast, the huge guy responding, and _still_ you ran circles around the lot of them.
This is content I will always come back for, your skill and appreciation for survival in these games is such a delight to watch. Once again, an absolute banger of a video!
5:20 having full food + water actually makes you heal hp faster! This is very useful if you're playing a dinosaur with slow heal like acro since it is faster (not by a lot but it is faster) This is also proven be several video's so if you really want to find out if its true (which it is) just google comparisons with full food+water and without
edit: having full food + water does not effect bleed heal tho
Is this true with Evrima as well?

YES you DO heal faster with full food and full water. A group and myself tested when I was staff. :)

Owl heres a little tidbit from something i learned while playing on servers with 3 bite rules. The reason those rexes said you broke the rules was because your more than likely attempted more than 3 bites, even though you only landed three. (Just look at your fight with the allo) I would suggest that even if you don't land all 3 bites, after 3 attempted bites you break off, as this could get rid of any confusion that your prey might have, (and i believe it would be a bit more sportsman like).

im a slave to all these Isle videos. i never played it but some of my friends did. i really wish i got into it with them, you make it look like so much fun! i love the narration
The game operates on a sunk cost fallacy, if you like delayed gratification it can be really fun. I'll say this though, the low and slow points of the game are what build the tension but they're monotonous and rather boring, they make up 80% of gameplay which is why afk growing is usually the way to go and why you see almost no footage of juvenile gameplay, youre usually just sitting in a bush for 20-30 minutes only going out to hunt ai and drink water. This is what makes the intense moments that much more fun though.
Nothing (in game) stings more than losing an adult giga (or other apex) on your first hunt to 5 experienced dilos or starving out because you can't find anyone and not enough ai spawns.
There is nobody else who can build up this level of intensity, it’s Immaculate
