Please check out my second tutorial "How to Overlap Letters | 2" th-cam.com/video/t0AEHNGYO5I/w-d-xo.html where I show a much easier way to overlap letters. Thank you for watching!
I saw another tut on overlapping and this by far was the easiest method! I especially like how you took your time and used voice-over to make the tutorial as smooth and easy. Thank you so much for the tut and I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Without a doubt, the best Adobe Illustrator tutor online! Absolutely brilliant demonstrations on how to use the tools and resources, and I've really enjoyed learning from this TH-cam page. Thank you, ever so much!
First of all, thanks for a good tutorial. However, there is one question. After offsetting the letters, I try to select the bottom set of letters but is unable to do so. Please explain how to do it. Thank you.
Wow! What seems so simple is not. Thanks so much. And as we approach Christmastime I'd like to thank you again for granting my request and doing videos on the candy cane pattern last year, How to Create a Candy Cane Pattern Brush Parts 1 and 2.
Morgan Field, could you give me advise since you were using older version of AI you wrote yourself. I had a problem with this candy stuff. I am using CS 5.1 and it is not doing automatically outer corner, how I will do them? No videos on the utube, they all show short way of pattern brush.
Thanks you for this nice video. When I created this and exported as JPEG, the JPEG file shows the knife cut marks. How to get rid of these knife cut marks. Thank you.
Thank you for sharing. It is most appreciated.........Irrespective of what we think we know, there will always be something new or different to be learned.
When we offset a path Illustrator creates an extra copy so we don't need to make an additional copy. You can skip the part from 1:49 - 2:08 Sorry for that and thank you for watching!
I had a problem with that as well; my path would show in inches instead of pixel. Here's a converter tool you can use: www.ninjaunits.com/converters/pixels/pixels-inches/. For her tut she is using 0.05 inches equals 18 pixels. Hope this helps.
