I am a past volunteer. I noticed at the end when you were pulling up to the scene traffic got funky. I have been there as a civilian when I miss read the traffic and the emergency vehicle and I moved in the wrong direction. With traffic fairly heavy I could not immediately correct myself and I said a few choice words....at myself for messing up. You handled it very well. This was a great video. I noticed the red light at 4:12 and it made me hold my breath......
if you're on the highway stay in the left lane or turn off your lights. As responders, we understand what you are doing, but the average person might not. and thats when accidents happen and people get freaked out.
Like I've said previously in many other videos. Most of the time these morons are speeding. The speed limit is 55 through that area. They're allowed to go 60. We however are allowed to only do 70. 95% of the time we're "going with traffic" is because either 1: they're speeding 2: We have to get off the highway soon or the scene is coming up or 3: Both of those. In this case it was both of those reasons.
If someone needs me to help them move a couch, and I get in my car and casually go to their house, that's "responding". If someone is on fire, and I'm going as fast as I can to go help them, going through red lights, that's an "emergency response". Should the people get over for me as I go over to move the couch?? I understand the big truck aren't going to be going 120mph on the highway.........but if they top out at 60, and the limit is 70......I will be passing, granted there is an open lane between us when I pass.
so, you as emergency vehicle aren't allowed to go at mre than 15 mph over the limit? That would really annoy me, I'm active at an EMS provider myself and sometimes we drive at up to twice the posted limit, in the city, countryside and highways...
I noticed some of the civilian vehicles did not pull over or move to the side despite your lights on and sirens. I don't know where this is... the USA? I'm in Canada! And in canada failing to move to the side or pulling over for emergency response vehicles is a serious offense and can have very serious penalties. such as losing your drivers license
All honesty these are pretty interesting to watch.. makes me realize how much of a pain in the ass other people are when it comes to getting out of the way
I'm a firm believer that the penalties for not pulling to the side of the road are not high enough. Failing to yield to a emergency response vehicle should be permanent points on your license, maybe suspension for 60 days, and a hefty fine. This also goes for school buses. Repeat, lose your license for 3 years or so or permanently. Don't like it, pull over.

youandiryan Yea, I noticed its horrible! In emergency cops or fire department focuses on the help so they let it go away those stupid drivers. Place: Pennsylvania, USA. In the beginning u can see his Volvo's plate when he's pulling away from his garage.

Another great response. True professional right here.
Nothing feels better than finding a great local video on accident , I pass through there almost all the time to get to the Berkshire mall!
I feel so bad for you, You have to deal with all this unneeded hate. Keep up the good work! I like your videos.
Please post more! I always watch.
Isn't it annoying for you when people don't move over for emergency veichles? I would surely get annoyed by that.

Agree. If you're going with traffic, then you are no longer an "emergency response vehicle".

Sahadi420 disagree...

Just curious but what was with the morse code at 4:34? Are you supposed to know that on the fly?
It's just a random thing that happens on the radio. I was told what it was for a while ago but I can't recall.
what part of PA
what vehicle are you running?
Is that the Mastercom B?
John T. yes it is
another nice response!
222? What county are you running out of
Ryan Andrukaitis That's Pennsylvania.
I'm confused is this person a police officer, or just a guy with a siren?
José Guzman He is a first responder, But he has to obey all traffic laws...that is the only thing that sucks.
José Guzman i think like a firechief.
was it a 3 DOS?
sps25678 3 Dead On Scene
No they said on the radio 3 BLS (basic life support) and that was at a different scene in another area.
Can u do a video of the car your in?
We actually heard that call come in...
All honesty these are pretty interesting to watch.. makes me realize how much of a pain in the ass other people are when it comes to getting out of the way

5:05 what was that

I live in reading so this must be close to me
It appeared you were way to far to respond to that call.

Omar Rodriguez constantly actually
it taken him a week too get there
People move to the right
Is it just me or is your driving really that bad?
how is his driving bad?
worst driver ever
Mr Wolf He's allowed to break road rules to get to a scene faster.
+Arc You missed the point...
actually no hes not. You must respond obeying ALL rules of the road
Trenton Boston actually with 360 lights and siren activated you can disobey a lot of laws as long as you are driving with due regard
How is he a bad driver
I've never seen a cop go that slow running lights and sirens lol
He's not a cop in the first place idiot.
Not a cop, fire-police I believe
Nothing like a whacker turning their lights on in their fucking garage.
Uh, how?? Just calling a whacker out when I see one.
That poor Audi crashed into that shitty Ford. Most likely the ford driver's fault.
