Dutch oven you use for pot roast, stews, soups etc
I used to walk home and make myself a snack after school at the same age. 😅 I’d snack it up while watching Rugrats all by my lonesome. Today I literally know not one person who lets their 11 year old do that. We were a different breed, man. 😂
I remember walking myself to school in first grade. And my Mom didn't work at that time! 1971, she stands at the door and says "ok then, have a good day!" and waves. 🤣😂

If it was daylight, and I had some cash, you’d see me walking to meet friends or to whatever convenient store wasn’t too far away. I’d even ride the city bus with friends. Not once did I feel afraid. Maybe we should have… 🥴😂
Oh it’s crazy what my parents got away with 😅😅 I was like a 12 year old bachelorette watching Maury after school, drinking full sugared cans of Mountain Dew, eating sleeves of cookies and my potstickers and/or pizza was the balanced part of my meal 😆😆
Crockpot is the brand name of one line of slowcookers like the difference between Kleenex and tissues. Both kleenex and crockpot have become the regularly used name whether or not it is actually from that brand, so all crockpots are slow cookers. Not all slow cookers are crockpots.
Dutch oven is the stovetop version of a "crockpot". They were just trying to be different when they made it. Although, i guess since it actually has a dutch oven insert it could be considered an e-dutchoven. Also dutch ovens can go from stovetop to oven if needed, and you can make bread in them. They're an all-rounder in the kitchen and usually cast iron or enameled cast iron, so are super sturdy and long lasting.

Hello from Houston! I bought a Greenworks electric lawnmower in 2019 and love it. It handles cutting my St. Augustine grass like a charm even when I haven't mowed in 2 weeks in the summer and the grass is mid-calf high. Love your videos.
That bag of hard candies is a perfect gift for someone who just became a grandma!

I always love your Costco SWM videos. I have the same trash can - one for garbage and one for recycling. I love them. They are a nice big size and look really good in my kitchen. I got mine on sale for $59 if I remember correctly. They seem to go on sale a couple of times a year. One feature I like... when it's time to change the bag, there is a blue knob located at the back of the inside rim that can be flipped forward when the can is open. It will keep the lid up while changing the bag.

Electric lawnmower/outdoor tools are the way to go. No/low maintenance, no oil change. Purchase a 2nd set of batteries if you have a bigger yard. Just make sure to store the batteries inside during the winter if you live in a cold climate to extend the life of the batteries.
I love my electric mower. It’s the only one I can use completely by my one handed self!

I have a Greenworks mower,mine is plug in,but love it....its light,almost quiet and there's nothing to do.....no filters,plugs,oil,etc....just plug it in or charge battery,that's it!
If you haven't bought the new dish drying rack yet, be aware that Boon dish drying grass also comes in a nice gray option. I actually never used for bottles/sippy cups but got one during the pandemic when I started using soda stream to help those bottles dry. I'm sure whatever you end up with will be great, just wanted to share! Loved the video!

I burst out laughing, thinking about preschoolers first ax, throwing set. It was really funny too. When you said if they check them in each other’s someone’s gonna get hurt. Definitely something little crazy boys would do.
The instant pot can sear first then slow cook. It’s also a sealed pressure cooker. Those r the nice differences between it and crock pot. If u need a new crock pot I’d recommend upgrade to instant as it does sear ( flavor and texture) and then crocks. It also just crocks. It also instant cooks with pressure setting. And can easily cook roasts from frozen. We have one and we don’t use it much more than crock pot but nice to have it seared first in same large pot and all the flavors stay in it
I have the tiny camp stove version of the solo stove and it's awesome. It sucks air in through the bottom and you just use twigs and it works great for backcountry cooking

I really love your evaluations at the stores. Super knowledgeable and very honest. You pack a lot of information so when I go to the stores…I really know where to zero in. I appreciate the time you take to do this. Do you have a way that we can send $ to you for this work you do? If not, set one up. Most TH-camrs understand how much you put into this.
Also when I moved to Texas, I met most of my friends at the gym, or like you’re doing at activities like pickle ball. Texas has a magazine with classes (in New York it was called “learning annex” ). I did take various classes at the Texas one from photography to cookie decorating. And it got me to travel to different parts of the city. Those magazines are usually at grocery stores on the way out.
I did do online dating. I think it’s a numbers game and the more you investigate different things you like to do… you’ll meet like minded people. I always start with getting my girlfriend base down. Then everything else flows from it.
Anyway, I’m going to get those books for my grandsons (my stepdaughters boys). They love reading. She has 4 boys from age 1-9yrs old. So you definitely understand.

for the thermacells, I picked up last years model on clearance that had a 15 foot zone for $10. the 20 foot zone were $ 50.

I’m obsessed with my Dutch oven. It cooks food like a crock pot, but in half the time. The only flaw is I always dread getting mine out because of how heavy they are.

A lot of fruits high in citric acid or vitamin c can give people small mouth sores; pineapple, kiwi, oranges ect. It’s surprisingly common.

Hey, I don't want to make you paranoid, but I would strongly caution you against Roblox for your kids. It is poorly regulated for safety and is a magnet for creepers, as in get your child to download a different messaging app etc. My fiancé who is a lover of games has said Roblox will be off limits for any future children and that is a big deal as he is more lenient when it comes to gaming for kids. I don't wanna overstep or be that person who tells you how to parent but I just wanted to mention it as I would have no idea it isn't a good game for kids if it weren't for my fiancé, with how popular it is you would never think it isn't good...
Costco is a scam, when you buy membership, you would want to buy so much stuff that covers Your membership back, the savings are just so little, they still make big profit.
The money I save on taquitos, eggs, frozen fruit, paper towels, toilet paper, and gas more than makes up for the membership fee by far. I’ve done the math.
