The dragon imps are immune to explosions and fire Edit: I love how wolfy completely forgot about the power toss which is probably the most versatile power out of the three

Dark Ages Day 29, despite its difficulty, is one of my favorite levels in Dark Ages. I love how the level is designed as if you're playing on 2 small lawns at once instead of one big one, with each lawn divided by the flower line.
Honestly, Dark Ages has my favourite set of levels out of all the expansions. They’re all so much fun. Night 29 in particular is fun. Pretty hard, but not that bad if you know what plants to use.
The amount of pain I get from watching wolfy use powerups and then not even fully use them is unbelievable. Watching him use the fling power up to fling one Zombie back instead of flinging every zombie he can away just hurts me to my soul.
Even if Power toss isn't the easiest to use on Mouse, he still does the same with other power ups where once he does what he wanted to do, he just fully stops instead of trying to get any other zombies with it
17:45 watching wolfy sit there with a power lily and laser bean in hand but not playing them gave so much anxiety, he had exactly what he needed to finish off the boss but it took him so long to use it. Very stressful but glad he managed to finish this world off, excellent video as always!
Well to be fair the laser bean cost 275 and you have to get a power lilly with gems I hate that some of the nerf are too much in this mod. I do like this mod but I'm kind of mixed on recommending it to other people due to the nerf
@@dykuvids6821 It's alright. I'm currently replaying Reflourished ('cause I transferred my progress on my first save file) and they made the upgrades and premium plants too expensive with the coins and gems. PLEASE don't stop planting! I think that's a part of the problem - you just stop putting stuff down as you go. If you want your defence to be effective, you have to constantly put plants down to strengthen your overall damage output, especially if you have spare sun. It's just like you stop building out your defence and hope to get through the level with 2 or 3 plants... Obviously that won't work! No hate tho, love your videos so much :) Just a piece of advice I had in mind. Edit - of course you have to stop at some point, but not when you have like... one plant in each lane?? The zombies ramp up as you go, and so should your defence.
Yeah I've tried that in Chronicles and Eclise. All you have to do is to fill the lanes as many plants(mainly attackers) as you can cuz they're not gonna stop sending zombies.
17:55 The whole “he’s dead, why isn’t he dying” saga is made even more infuriating by the power Lily sitting in his conveyor, and the laser bean begging to have it used on.
Wolfy, listen to me. Big Wave Beach is upon us, and I assure you it is going to be difficult. Here are some tips; - The speed at which you recieve plants on the coneyor belt is entirely based on how many plants are currently on the conveyor belt. With this in mind, you should be placing plants immediately after they appear. In this regard, it's incredibly easy to complete Day 16 without any hassle if you just keep your eyes at the bottom of the conveyor and place things as fast as possible. - I genuinely, legitimately, have no idea how you beat levels with multiple Fisherman Zombies without Infi-Nut's Plant Food. That should be your main stake in plant food. - Every single mechanic in Big Wave Beach targets the front line. All of them. With that in mind, place sun fields at the front lines to tank Octopi (which target plants closer first) and to get eaten when Infi-Nut is down. - You can get rid of Octopi with Hot Potato. Use this information how you will. - Bowling Bulb IS good, but it needs proper support from instant-use plants, namely Jalapeno or Guacodile. - Remember point 3? Scratch that if you're using Roto. Roto should be placed, along with an Infi-Nut, as far up as is realistic. I'm talking column 7,6 to effectively spawncamp the zombies. Be warned, though; Low Tide can still screw you over, and zombies spawn much faster if you kill them too quickly. - Speaking of Low Tide; Thyme Warp and Cherry Bomb. All I should need to say. Thyme Warp lets you drag all those sudden spawns back to column 9. I'd say run it full-time. - Octodad. I mean this genuinely, if you're playing on an emulator that lets you bind taps to keys, bind shift or an easily accessible key to the shovel. I'm dead serious. Octopi are annoying pricks that nullify tiles for entire millenia, and it's genuinely better to intercept the octopi by shoveling the thing it was going to disable, so that you can just replace it. Sun-intensive, sure, but it's usually a good call. The octopi disappears if it doesn't have a plant to land on. - Pair Winter-Melon to cover your lategame with Rotobaga to cover your earlygame and there's very little that can stop you. - I didn't want to mention any specific levels, but Day 36. It can be obscenely difficult if you take the wrong approach, so what you need to do is two column of Bowling Bulb, one column of Kernel-Pults, and one column of Wall-Nuts. That should just be enough if you use plantfood wisely. Oh, and by the way. This isn't the worst Reflourished has to offer. Looking forward to next upload!
Dragon imps are immune to explosions and fire damage i think. You can probably read it up in the book to see how every zombie works when you're confused. You seem to forget it exists most of the time
Yup explosive and fire plants won’t do crap to them. Grapeshots projectiles do hurt them but the explosion won’t. I’d recommend other insta kill plants like chili bean, electrici tea, hypno shroom etc.
Try out putting sun production in the front and damage dealers in the back. This way your sun production can act as a kind of wall plant whilst also giving you sun for damage plants. Damage plants are more important for keeping you alive.

Wolfy, before you learn this the hard way, dragon imps are immune to all fire damage
if wolfy did this much rage in dark ages he better be prepared cause big wave beach is next i will be in your funeral wolfy im sorry ;-;
See this is why i like watching Wolfy playing PVZ 2 more than any other youtuber: He reacts to the game in the way i react to it: with emotions of pure commitment
18:16 I love this part on god
WHY DID THEY DRAG THAT OUT FOR SO LONG?!?
This is truly a little dark age
Yep, the Dark RAGES! 😡
I'm not 100% sure, but I think the poison shrooms plant food is pretty op, it poison the entire map and that is most times a map clear.
But it could be that it got nerfed in reflourished
Shadow shrooms didn't get nerfed in reflourished so yay
1:42 “I’m welsh I can’t be trusted around sheep” 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂😂
You know it’s real when wolfy gets so pissed, that he uses new words 18:27 ( I’ve been there on big wave beach and I didn’t play for weeks.

17:57 The Intensity is killing me
(2:50) "WHA-WHAT KIND OF HORSE-SH*T SPAWN WAS THAT!?"
(5:06) "Why am I here?"
(9:35) [in French accent] "These things are just not good."
(10:24) [slams desk]
(14:26) "Can we RELA-"
(18:03, 18:05) "HE'S DEAD! *HEEEEEEE'S DEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!!!!!!"*
A genuine thank for boosting my self esteem
Good luck with big wave beach ;)
fun fact: the dragon imp is actually the strongest imp in the game! not beacuse it has more health but only beacuse it has resistance to ANY fire damage
The Gargantuar imp:
"I'm Welsh you know I can't be trusted around sheep"
Cam is the funniest man on TH-cam I'm dead 💀
You can never have a Welshman and a sheep in the same room.
Hasn't even been a minute into the video and I'm already fucking loving this
I recommend using Puffball for levels like these. Puffball is a poison plant that can clear through zombies quickly.
Hope you have a merry Christmas, Wolfy!
🎉 Merry Shagmas!! 🎉
Dude this brought back some flashbacks of tournaments
I love the cut Screams só much
that welsh joke had me choking for TEN MINUTES MUFAKA😭
"I don't know what you want me to do with this bottom lane" power ups: I dunno bro
