Interestingly, the description you give of the Messiah is a precise description of what is called the antichrist, anti-Messiah, in the Christian New Testament. I think you need to read your Tanach better.
No it isn't. The Christian book of Revelations describes a person who is going to call himself God and sit in the temple. Jesus literally did that so you could call him the Antichrist if you go by that standard. But there is a specific Jewish belief of the Moshiach will not be divine. Kind of hard to worship somebody as a false god when you don't believe the Messiah is going to be a God figure. Especially since Jews literally believe that the Messiah will be a political leader who will lead people back to God and encourage people to follow God's laws. Even the book of Revelation says the Antichrist is going to fight against people who keep Torah law.

Why do you guys reject so many old testament verses? Isaiah 53 as an example or that it says messiah had to come prior to the second temple destruction, he would not be accepted by his own people, and he would be killed. Don't you think it's a bit curious that so many rabbis make it forbidden for jews to read the new testament? How can anyone criticize a text they have never read. We get called antisemetic cuz we follow christ and it makes absolutely zero sense. Government isn't a euphemism, there are different words to describe our spiritual state, government means government. When he arrives, isJesus expected to sign executive orders? Isaiah 11-14 : "The divided Israel will be reunited as one nation. United, they will defeat their enemies in the region and bring peace to their land with the Messiah as their king" . Honestly it sounds like he's describing Bibi Netanyahu right now, Not a huge fan but I'm just reading the text. The concept of the man is more Adam and Eve who come together at the end of days and dupe the serpent. Those are two separate concepts. Those two show the 5th layer of Torah. They will rule equally. Adam comes from David and Eve comes from Yosef. So the concept of Mashiach is not an actual man. Adam and Eve come to repair the breaches. But no man stands in the middle between Gd and the people. If you have a man, you'll have idolatry. But when you say Messiah you'll start wars. The actual revealer is the Torah as described by Isaiah when he says the Mashiach is marred, not even human. In the Old Testament there are prophecies about the advent of different four Messiahs who have to appear according to the promise of God Almighty. We should not confuse them with one another as the signs and times of their advent are different and their Missions are different. One Massiah who had to appear 2000 years ago, only for the people of Israel, was the Jesus, Son of Mary. There are also descriptions in Old Testament about the advent of a second one Massiah, with a universal message for the people of all religions and nations, after Jesus. Jesus was the last prophet to reform the people of Israel and he had informed that after him there would be a prophet to reform the world. According to the prophecies of the Bible this Messiah had to appear in the area of Paran. There are also descriptions in Old Testament about the advent of a third one Messiah who had to appear about 200 years ago in the middle of the eighteenth century for current era to fill it with justice and peace. The fourth one Massiah is described who will appear at the End Time of the 7th Millennium (we are passing through the 7th Millennium that is the last one Millennium and two hundred years have passed). The followers of Moses and Jesus do agree that, counting from the time of Adam, the present millennium is the seventh. It is the unanimous teaching of all previous Prophets that the Promised Messiah would be born at the end of the sixth millennium and would appear at the turn of the seventh millennium. The followers of all three religions: Judaism Christianity and Islam since the middle of the 1800 century, had started to wait for the advent of the Messiah in the light of the prophecies of their religious books. It states in Zohar: '' In the 600th year of the sixth thousand [i.e., 5600, or 1839-1840 CE], the gates of wisdom on high and the wellsprings of lower wisdom will be opened. This will prepare the world to enter the seventh thousand, just as man prepares himself toward sunset on Friday for the Sabbath ( Zohar 1:117a). Christian scholars also expected the return of Christ(as) in the middle of18th century ( 1844 according to Christian calendar.) This is why the Christian world in the end of eighteenth century had been so agitated about this subject, and a number of tracts were published in America asking why the Promised Messiah, who was to have appeared in this age, had not yet done so. Some had replied despairingly that since it is already too late, people should consider the Church to be his substitute. The Promised Messiah of this age has written: ''I must say and I cannot be stopped from repeating that I am the promised one who has been sent to restore the faith, to re-establish it in the hearts of men. This humble one is similar in character to other holy ones (Prophets of God Almighty) but similarity to Jesus Christ is more pronounced. Because of this similarity, this humble one has been sent in the name of Jesus Christ. I have come from heaven with angels on my right and left. Angels whom God will send, nay, is already sending into willing hearts. This, to help complete my mission. Even if I speak or write nothing, even then the angels who have descended with me will carry on their work. It is the custom of God that when a prophet or apostle or saint descends from heaven to reform and restore a people to faith, then angels also descend with him, in his company. These angels enter human hearts willing and ready. They draw them to virtue and keep drawing them, until unbelief and misguidance disappear and the dawn of belief and righteousness shows its face. The Angels and the Holy Spirit takes place only when a great human - an elect - draped in vicegerency and blessed with divine revelation, descends upon this earth. The Holy Spirit is specially charged to work for this man. And the angels, they descend upon willing hearts all over the world. Then wherever there are men of good will and ability the light emitted by this man descends. The whole world is then under the influence of a pervasive light. Angels enter men's hearts and set them in the right direction. Love of the One God begins to attract. Simple and Straight hearts become charged with the love and search of truth.The weak are endowed with strength. Everywhere a wind of wholesome change begins to blow. The cause of the reformer beings to prosper. A hidden hand moves men to righteousness. In reality the change is the work of angels who descend from Heaven along with the vicegerent of God, and lend special strength for the acceptance and understanding of truth. They awaken those who were asleep and alert those who were lost. They give hearing to the deaf, quicken those who were dead, and raise the entombed out of their graves. Then do men suddenly open their eyes and begin to perceive and understand what was hidden from them before. The angels who help the Vicegerent are not beings apart from the Vicegerent. They are the light that shines on his face. They are the many signs and symptoms of his courage and will. The death of Messiah was a sacrifice like that of the Passover lamb, as writes Isaiah in the 53 chapter: Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand. He suffered for the sins of both Israel and the whole world, therefore God the Father has given the nations of the Gentiles unto him, like the psalmist writes.

No it isn't. The Christian book of Revelations describes a person who is going to call himself God and sit in the temple. Jesus literally did that so you could call him the Antichrist if you go by that standard. But there is a specific Jewish belief of the Moshiach will not be divine. Kind of hard to worship somebody as a false god when you don't believe the Messiah is going to be a God figure. Especially since Jews literally believe that the Messiah will be a political leader who will lead people back to God and encourage people to follow God's laws. Even the book of Revelation says the Antichrist is going to fight against people who keep Torah law.

Why do you guys reject so many old testament verses? Isaiah 53 as an example or that it says messiah had to come prior to the second temple destruction, he would not be accepted by his own people, and he would be killed. Don't you think it's a bit curious that so many rabbis make it forbidden for jews to read the new testament? How can anyone criticize a text they have never read. Torah is the actual Revealer/messenger... and within the Torah and Tanakh Gd embedded keys to unlock every science.

There are also descriptions in Old Testament about the advent of a third one Messiah who had to appear about 200 years ago in the middle of the eighteenth century for current era to fill it with justice and peace. The fourth one Massiah is described who will appear at the End Time of the 7th Millennium (we are passing through the 7th Millennium that is the last one Millennium and two hundred years have passed).
The followers of Moses and Jesus do agree that, counting from the time of Adam, the present millennium is the seventh. It is the unanimous teaching of all previous Prophets that the Promised Messiah would be born at the end of the sixth millennium and would appear at the turn of the seventh millennium. The followers of all three religions: Judaism Christianity and Islam since the middle of the 1800 century, had started to wait for the advent of the Messiah in the light of the prophecies of their religious books. The Promised Messiah of this age has written: ''I must say and I cannot be stopped from repeating that I am the promised one who has been sent to restore the faith, to re-establish it in the hearts of men. This humble one is similar in character to other holy ones (Prophets of God Almighty) but similarity to Jesus Christ is more pronounced. Because of this similarity, this humble one has been sent in the name of Jesus Christ. I have come from heaven with angels on my right and left. Angels whom God will send, nay, is already sending into willing hearts. This, to help complete my mission. Even if I speak or write nothing, even then the angels who have descended with me will carry on their work. It is the custom of God that when a prophet or apostle or saint descends from heaven to reform and restore a people to faith, then angels also descend with him, in his company.
