Please I beg of you, get him to at least do a little bit of this on Bedrock, I want my Console back! Bedrock has its good things but I'd take an up-to-date Legacy Console instead of Bedrock any day. The crafting menu in Bedrock is a living hell, it's so darn laggy (at least on Switch and PS4 which is still dumb) and there's no organization! The Marketplace only carried over a tiny amount of the old skin packs, there were a lot of good skins in there that Mojang don't need permission for that they could've carried over. Coords on maps was 100% the best option possible for viewing coords. Making custom flat worlds was just plain awesome. The redstone was one of the countless examples of how Legacy was the best of both Java and Bedrock features, along with almost everything else. And most importantly, it's going to have massive demand on Bedrock because that's the one that USED TO BE Legacy Console, so even if it were a PAID add-on they'd still make a fortune for years to come. This is the version of Minecraft that actually needs it! Sorry, this is just my years of background frustration coming to the surface. I really wish Legacy Console was still up-to-date, that was my childhood and I really miss it.

as a pocket player, I agree with you because the legacy edition looks like a java edition. Just a heads up - if you go to graphics in the settings and scroll to the bottom to enable "resource assorts" - preset packages of resourcepacks eith a predefined load order and such - if you enable the "ps4 parity" resource assort youll get the classic xbox/ps4 tu46 textures and titlescreen. Great video! Though!!!!
You can also go in depth and edit the resourcepacks inside the assorts and turn on the programmer art pack inside of ps4 parity- that gets the classic tu1 feel down to the tee.
I wish they continued the console edition, because this looks incredible. If they had I’d probably play more often. I wish you could use this mod pack on bedrock.

The worst part is, bedrock used to be pocket edition, which was actually good, then they ripped the code and made windows 10 edition and then it went downhill from there.
@@trioOFmischief it only got better before 1.13.0, there was no "downhill" before that, it had all of its exclusive features and even more from legacy console edition (exclusive features is the best part of PE/Bedrock) and got more features from Java and turned it into actual game rather than some crappy mobile port.
This... I need this. I stopped playing minecraft partially because I was getting bored and mostly because of being given playtime limits, but boy did bedrock kill so much enjoyment because of how clunky and slow everything was. But this just brings back the best parts of console. Which was pretty much everything. If I wasn't in the middle of another project, I'd start playing the game with this immediately.
I vocally shouted YES! When I saw the superflat customisation. While I've been a java player the last 7ish years, I've never touched superflat cause it was too complicated. Also something you didn't mention that I noticed, the speed/sprint while flying in creative. You could also sprint left right and backwards.
I've been playing around with this mod pack for a while now and I suspected you would cover it at some point. The work people have put into this is crazy!

Honestly L4J's controller support feels better gameplay wise. IIRC pretty much everyone wants the creators to make a standalone for the controller support

@@lpfan4491legacy4j mod has really good controller support, it feels polished and really enjoyable to play, and controlify has probably the worst support, it's really annoying, it has analog camera movement which makes sensitivity feel weird at any value, and lacks customization, and midnightcontrols is the best one yet (besides legacy4j of course), it's has a lot of customization and stuff, the only thing I dislike about it tho is everything related to cursor, it moves weirdly doesn't have snapping and interpolation, and doesn't have texture (just moves system cursor) so it's still a bit worse than legacy4j
I just opened one of my first worlds from 2012 that I had copied over from XBOX 360 to Xbox One. I forgot that the versions automatically update, and there were horses & rabbits and all sorts of things that didn’t exist back then, shocking because I remember it like yesterday.
I would actually really like the ability to fly in survival being half in creative half out like you said being able to fly and build easier but you still have to get your own resources and food

If it was still continuing development, I wouldn't have a large portion of my 4-5 year old worlds projects, like a wall around the entire world. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have the new features since 1.14 and on, since I've never played them, but it would change a lot of things.

They finally made Java Edition good! Jokes aside, I really love this, I remember when I first booted up Minecraft on my 360, I was met with C418's Moog City 2, I would mostly play tutorial worlds, they had a sense of discovery and exploration that was unmatched, I will never forget how much it meant to me, it shaped how I play today

@@charautreal I mainly play Java, but prefer Bedrock, so I just use mods and resource packs to make Java as similar to Bedrock as possible, including removed exclusive features as well (for example randomized grass color noise which makes grass look way better especially at distance, this was removed from Bedrock in 1.17.30 for no reason) Thats really annoying when mods don't get updated at all, but in these cases I either search for forks, or try to update it myself, or try to override required game version in fabric dependencies file
enabling classic crafting OR classic menu fixes create mod and create achievements not popping up, plus, controller still works on the original menu in the mod

Greg is coming this Christmas of 2024 though. Dragonfly G4 battery life is better than my current Gamming Laptop although mine rocks Ryzen 7 5000 Series astonishing fast with 1 TB. The Battery Upgrade will take it to 8hrs. Though.
This is a hard take but personally because of how unplayable bedrock can be sometimes and the controversy of ppl always preferring other versions of the game. They should just make a new version compatible on all devices and with today's more latest software so that bugs and adding updates won't be a hassle. On top of that it can have features from all versions including mini games ,tutorials, etc.

As someone who still plays the PS3 version it's comforting to know that this mod exists in case I'm ever forced to switch to PC.

This is a hard take but personally because of how unplayable bedrock can be sometimes and the controversy of ppl always preferring other versions of the game. They should just make a new version compatible on all devices and with today's more latest software so that bugs and adding updates won't be a hassle. On top of that it can have features from all versions including mini games ,tutorials, etc.
