Um both of these have a bad rep VW trans and electrical issues and the Kia engine issues especially on these models couldn’t pay me to take either one with the history.
who on this planet would buy a vw suv .which needs a timing belt replacement down the track its like lets have lungs replaced at a cost which will not be cheap and have the half engine will be pulled apart ????
If you buy new, you have standard 5 years power train warranty (4 bumper to bumper), and most smart buyers won’t be financing more than 5 years. By then, just trade it in if you’re worried.
I’m glad you guys are back, I used to love the comparisons.
Thanks! It's great to be back

I'd have the Kia, mainly because of the warranty, but the interior is just richer.
In Canada here, only 2 are worth buying if you don't need AWD, the 2024 Trax and 2024 Taos. Everything else is far over priced.
Im currently shopping for a small suv. I drove the Taos, Rav4 & soon the Kia.

More for me
