- Rose, Truffle, Wine Lees, Honey, Patchouli Frédéric Malle's beloved classic, Rose Tonnerre is part of an exotic garden of exquisite rose scents at night: in the foreground, intoxicating, sparkling, sweet and fresh all at once, it reveals deep and warm facets. Dark and enigmatic, subtly gothic.
Within the context of this personal work, Édouard Fléchier showed Frédéric Malle a new base, a kind of olfactive sketch, reproducing the smell of a “Perigord's truffle”. This assemblage of dark notes, for the most part woody and animal, was destined to masculine perfumery, but the two friends had the idea - a priori paradoxical- to marry it to the feminine scent par excellence: the rose. In the hands of the master perfumer, the classic rose aroma becomes dark and sensual. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
I’m glad you touched on the fact he’s left - I think the line will be very different now
So glad to hear from you again! the Q&A is still coming soon, i've pre-filmed a bit of content as I've just custom built a new computer. once the refilm content is done (over the next month) I'll be getting into it :)
Unfortunately so, especially since its owned by esteer lauder, anything they have control over suffers. much like the decline of quality for Tom Ford
@@FragranceFiend Really? I can’t wait! I didn’t like to push because I wasn’t sure how keen you were on the idea, but I’m looking forward to it 🥰
Definitely once I’ve sorted everything on the back end out. I’ll have to build my template from the ground up since switching to a new editor which will increase my workflow and hopefully produce more consistent content! 😊
Wow they’re not cheap! But at least the fragrance sounds really good
FM really does make perfect signature scents; they push a lot of boundaries and this one's no exception!
Stabbing your hand with a Frédéric Malle? That’s sacrilege! 🤣
Hahaha a small sacrifice to smell good! It hurt though 😆
