It's very common to see cemeteries right next (up close) to residential homes with literally no buffer zones such as a strip of grass or a road, or trees. Perhaps this may be due to a shortage of land, but I think it's also due to a different culture.

日本比較多人介意係有人過身，多過物理上的衞生。石文化的歐洲，如巴黎裡面咁多樓都超過百年歷史，啲人都係咁住。唔同文化，唔同人對"凶宅"的睇法真係好唔同
