What kind of prep does he do before assembly? Are the bearing clearances, run out, etc. measured? Is there any case prep done on the aluminum cases?

Why not use a counter-weighted crank? Also curious to know if the bearing clearances were good out of the box.

What does Jack use for case sealant?

He did, he applied it to the 1/2 case half while it was laying on the bench.
The sealant he's using is called Threebond 1211.
